Irrfan Khan will be back on the screen with the sequel to Hindi Medium

After Irrfan Khan's public statement a few
months back which revealed that the actor
is battling with cancer, his fans were left
shattered. But now, his fans can heave a
sigh of relief because we hear that Irrfan
Khan has agreed to do the sequel to Hindi
Medium. That's right!
After Irrfan's announcement in March that
he will be undergoing treatment for a
Neuroendocrine tumour in London, he
dropped out of two projects the
untitled Vishal Bhardwaj film with Deepika
Padukone and political satire series
titled Gormint.
According to reports, the makers of Hindi
Medium flew down to London to meet Irrfan
and the narration of the script was held
there. Post the meeting, Irrfan gave his nod
to star in the sequel to Hindi Medium. Hindi
Medium sequel will be produced by Dinesh
Vijan's Maddock Films. If reports are to be
believed, the plot will forward ten years and
narrate the next part of the story of the
Hindi loving Raj, the character played by
Irrfan.
Last, we saw Irrfan Khan in Akarsh
Khurana's Karwaan starring Dulquer Salman
and Mithila Palkar. However, Irrfan could not
be a part of the film's promotion as he was
undergoing treatment in London for high-
grade neuroendocrine tumour, a rare type
of cancer, with which he was diagnosed
earlier this year.
Hindi Medium was directed by Saket
Chaudhary starring Irrfan Khan and Saba
Qamar in pivotal roles. This comedy-drama
film released in 2017 and won accolades by
critics and fans, alike.

Is he getting better? Hopefully he becomes healthy soon.. This also means that his movie with VB n DP is essentially scrapped.! Sad coz I really lived his chemistry with DP in piku. He has to be her best pair.
