Talking about his real-life experience with such portals, Shivin says, "I did download a dating site to see how the thing actually works. I was just plain curious. I did swipe some people. Later, I got talking with someone saying who told me that I was the fake Shivin Narang. I started wondering God people are already thinking that I am a fake guy. I left it soon after. Being an actor, you cannot do much on a dating application. When we asked the actor which TV actresses would he like to see on Tinder, pat came the reply, Mouni Roy. "I am have been a fan of Mouni since Naagin. She is absolutely stunning. Then, of course it is Jennifer Winget, she is quite cute. Whether they would say yes to me on Tinder or not is a different matter altogether. Who knows they may be there with some other profile, he says with a laugh. "It would be so much fun if they joined the dating application, states the young hunk. He also said that he is fond of YouTube and constantly checks out videos on the site. Talking about his show, he said, "I loved the concept of the show. The theme is a modern one with the impact of technology on relationships and love. I am not someone who uploads every detail of my life on social media, he said.

Talking about the success of dating applications, Shivin says that there are many who indulge in the sly on such application. However, on the show he falls for a girl who does not even have a decent smartphone. "On the show, he meets Adhya who is totally distanced from the world of technology and social media.
