Kajol on Helicopter Eela: I know it is not going to be Avengers but I

Kajol will next be seen in Pradeep Sarkar's
Helicopter Eela. The actress plays the role of
a single mother named Eela, in it. Eela is a
possessive and overprotective mother who
takes admission in her son's college to
complete her education. The trailer was
funny, emotional and had lots of drama in it.
Helicopter Eela also traces the journey of a
woman who loses herself and her identity
because of her duty as a mother. The film is
produced by Ajay Devgn.
In an interview with PTI, when the actress
was asked about women-oriented films
being made in Bollywood and if she would
do more such films, she said that she
doesn't want to restrict herself to only one
genre. Kajol said, "There are lots of films
coming your way that are being written
with a female central character in mind. It
also has to do with whether you want to do
that kind of film or not. I don't want to do
only that kind of film. I want to do
everything."
About Helicopter Eela, the actor expects the
film to get love just the way any Avengers
film get. "I know it is not going to be
Avengers but I would love it to be. A film has
to be entertaining. The story is told in a
humorous way, with
big dollop of fun put into it and at the same
time, there is content. We have achieved
every goal that we had for making a good
film," the actress stated.
Helicopter
Eela is slated to release on September 7,
2018.
