Agree that people love Kaira and they have a great fan following.
Also agree that there exist many fans who want to see Kiara together come what may, irrespective of what is going in the story! Even if Naira is abused by Karthik!
But plot and plot handling also matters. I for one not comfortable with the change that the topic maker has expressed.
Yeh Rishta is loosing its quintessence slowly ..may be because they are exhausted.
But still its number one show on Indian telly in my opinion.
I loved the way the leap started. But was disappointed with some of the characters ie Dadi (Same selfish hypocrite) Singhnaiyas (With their almost Zero Self respect) Naksh ( a character who suffered a total undoing) Though I liked Devyani and Manish.
Manish's outburst was good! Equally good were Devyani's one liners but I hope she was given some more fury! Did not like the entry of Nani...found it so uncalled for. All of a sudden they started putting Kaira together in the same folly frame, whereas in actuality it was Karthik who humiliated Naira, but was never questioned!
I am not liking the amalgamation of flashbacks with the present reality its overdone! and the weird juxtaposition of Karthik's aggression with some stupid comic scene in the next episode, it sound giddy more than comic to me.
I feel what ruined the mood after a perfect start was missing aggression of Naksh and Singhnaiyas post leap! While we got spoilers that there would be rivalry between families post leap. Dadi's character was not changed, rather they made her duly depressing, first by making her the same Hitler for Naira and Singhnaiyas and second by making her docile and submissive for Suwrana. Karthik playing a confused victim card was ridiculous. Certain things cvz failed in miserably ie On the day of cremation he was searching for Niara and literary said I asked her to leave for the time being! While he never second his mom when she kept shouting she can't comeback to her house?
He got the reason that she was injured but then he comes to stand One! You killed my brother so l can't forgive/forget! Then what wa sthat sentence , I asked her to leave for the time being?
Rest is okay!
This is the only show that I have been watching since its inception.
I love Jennifer Winget so sometimes I catch a glimpse of Bepannah. But I have not watched that either after Zoya started handling her husband's business. I am a huge fan of Pakistani shows like Kankar, Zindagi Gulzaar hai, Humsafar, Mere Harzai, Mere Humdum, Feriha mere dost and literary every pak show. They make me feel positive about the role of tv in shaping positive attitudes.
I hope they show a guilty Karthik. He should realize the gravity of his irrational aggression and teh damage that it has caused to Naira and Singhnaiyas. Plus the cvz should stop equating Naira and Karthik when it comes to share the blame game of committing 'mistake' what Karthik did was not a mistake it was harassment!
TO my view Naira is not at fault its just that she did not try harder (which cud have translated into compromising with her self esteem) but that was because Karthik failed her and broke her completely. But even if she did not try to mend it she neither tried to disgrace it, In fact she ended it gracefully but he and his puppet clan of hypocrites had problems with that too.
Karthik was set at a high pedestal and I think its the high time that the cvz take him down to the pit . for my sanity at least.
Last as I said earlier I am happy with the divorce. But I want to see Niara emerging stronger and Karthik falling miserably bursting Suwarna;'s bubble. I beg cvz to end the flashbacks they make no sense and consume all the time. In the last episode they kept walking and walking which was annoying.
Cvz can show Suwarna now. She can come up with Aashis's alliance. But plz dont drag Naira in it. Otherwise we will ahve to bear Karthik playing victim again, you cant understand me you thought I wud remarry and bla bla...Rather it should be from Niara-''Why should I understand you, we are divorced am not liable to you!''
Plz keep both tracks separate Niara's college and Kaashi track! Don't mix! Dont want Nani to add more stupidity in pushing Naira to beg Karthik to mend .
Nnai and Keerti making silly plans trying to trouble Aashi and her mom wud be creepiest of creep thing if it happens. I was not happy with Nani's entry, but when it was confirmed I hoped she wud be aggressive like Devyani but hell she is the same old Karthik worshiper.
Did not say a single word to Suwrana but she had the guts to accuse Dadi and Manish lol So she too knows who is the boss!
