But I think it will be more economical to throw SidT into Jhelum to get rid of him! 🤣

What I am fearing is that the next time Alexander receives a blow from Porus.. it would be a bigger one.. that too at the hands of Ambhikumar as he is going to blindly trust him after this sneak attack and he would continue to be a double agent.

And probably at the end of another such track, Alexander would be at the peak of his anger and Porus would be partying and that would be when Alexander would shock him in the midnight by crossing the river without the Pul. 😆

Look, Jhelum scenes are not reliable because people never really drown or die there. And now that there are nets in there, SidT will just get caught in one and his equivalent of Hephaestion will fish him out. 🤣

What would be even more awesome is if Alexander spots that Ambhikumar is a double agent eventually, and plays him instead. Could be an interesting track!
Gosh, there I go again suggesting stuff that SidT is probably not even thinking about! 🤣

I don't think the PR people know how to have fun. It's been ages since they partied. Besides, with either Bamni or Hasti dead, there will be nothing but a marathon of vachans that Porus will take on.

If Alexander spots Ambhikumar's play then it would be worth watching.. but SidT ki soch wahin se shuru hoti hai jahan humari khatam hoti hai 😆 so we shouldn't hope for too much 🥱

If they really want to introduce Rakhi, then one chance still exists the next week. Anusuya might send Rakhi to Ambhiraj which would lead to another lecture on Bhartiya customs and it might interest Roxy. 😆

However, after the hug from Barsine and followed exchanges, it is giving me certain vibes that Puru would be successful in rescuing those three nasty creatures from the ruthless monster. His mission was to rescue them in order to make the Farsis betray Alexander (God Knows how ), if this task fails with one or two deaths on his side then it would seem a complete loss for Puru which makers won't like to show.

Anyways, I am thinking that do they deliberately shoot scenes for the precap to confuse us? Alexander was smirking in Friday's precap but nothing of that sort happened

Which means that you are not fond of me in the normal course? You would never make a diplomat, my dear!😉 And I am always honest. Suppressio veri is not the same thing as suggestio falsi!😉

I don't know, but last night I was literally livid, which rarely happens with me. I am now sick of this show, the only one I watch, which is probably the reason I am still watching it. It is no longer for Alexander as it was at the beginning, for his 2.0 avatar is driving me round the bend.

Incidentally, you have been a no show on my threads for a while now, not reading even your PMs. So let us have a little less talk of occasional fondness for me, and a little more action on my posts!😉

Finally, I don't think you quite understand what RA is really like, or you wouldn't talk of kicking its derriere. In any such eventuality, it is most likely to turn and kick one in the teeth! There is nothing for it but to adjust to it and manage as best one can.

Precaps are often of sequences that come up only two days later. But in any case, Alexander was not smirking. In fact his face, or as much as one could make it out in the gloom, was expressionless, as if he was digesting the developments and rearranging his ideas.

Unfortunately these days he does not seem to have many sound ideas, and those he does have go haywire with monotonous regularity.

I don't mean to sound snippish, but all these scenarios you kids are working out make me laugh, and not in amusement. This story makes no sense at all, and that is the beginning and the end of it all. How can one predict anything at all in this mess?

And the presentation is goshawful. The scene in the water, topping off the pathetic show on the boat, was the pits.😡 One could not make out anything but a dark floating mass, and Alexander shaking his hair out like a wet poodle.

As for me, I think Bamni is going to die. So one watchable character will be gone. He is dispensable for the story, as he has no real role any more. And as he would have been killed by Alexander, that would be one more very sore point between them.

Anyway, there is no point in speculating on all this. One should just hang in there till one can and then let go.

@Vaishnavi, we'd be giving SidT too much credit by saying he shows us precaps to confuse us.
They probably just shoot anything and then write the script on the fly.

Since GoT and Mission Impossible are his two sources of inspiration (that we know of), I wish he'd take a cue from them where it counts.

GoT scripts are meticulously planned, while Mission Impossible scripts (at least for the recent movie) are written on the fly, but they had a general direction of where they were going.

As for his soch, I'd say

SidT ki soch wahin se khatam hoti hai jahan humari shuru hoti hai

I think he's mentally exhausted and needs to go on vacation, like we do. 😆

The number of folk that Alexander keeps discovering are NOT dead grows apace. First Porus, then Chanakya, now Hasti!

Hephaestion Phelps is spot on! Original and extremely funny.👏

Hmmm. I think it makes more sense for Bamni to die than Hasti, because the Sindh kingdom might then be invaded by Alexander in retaliation for Hasti attacking him and Alexander later discovering that he didn't die in the river. In the meantime, Hephaestion Phelps goes and finishes off Bamni and brings back the Farsi royal ladies. 👏

If Barsine and co escape to PR, then that to me would be the biggest shame for Alexander. Hephaestion hopefully is successful in this rescue reversal. Also, what I don't understand is, if Hephaestion's men climbed into those boats, they surely still had their arrows so why didn't they shoot?

I don't know if Olympias' black magic will work beyond this, because of what Anusuya told her about praying for her own son's safety instead of praying for Anusuya's son's death.

Porus 187:Tipping Point

OK, kids, I am through with this show, definitely from the end of this week, or maybe from tomorrow itself.

Alexander is in frightful straits .He is now being set up for serial betrayal by Ambhikumar. I simply cannot believe it.

This is not distortion, it is a wholesale massacre of history. .Rohit should threaten a walk out to get the script changed. They can't afford to lose him at this point.

Luckysnow had better keep his vachan and stop watching it as well, seeing that Barsine and her kunba have all safely reached Paurav Rashtra. Still in the same clothes.

Barsine and SidT are rewriting history regarding Alexander's rule in Persia with a vengeance.

So Porus can predict the melting of snow in the Hindukush passes with incredible precision.

Stupid Olympias, not having done things in time, has now lost either the blood or the mannikin of Porus. Why Laachi is now providing room service for Olympias is beyond me.

I see that you are both struck dumb by tonight's goings on. I don't blame you.

As for me, I have had it. I don't see how it is going to help Rohit whether anyone stays with this show or not. If he wants to get on in this profession - and I take it he has an alternative one, as he can hardly survive on one show every two years - he has to grow up and cut himself loose from SidT's apron strings.

By clinging to him and to Swastik, Rohit has saddled himself and viewers like us with this pathetic parody of Alexander the Great. And let himself and us down.

It doesn't matter for me, for I am perennially being badly disappointed with shows and regularly quitting them midway. This is just one more of those. But if Rohit lets himself be cheated and shortchanged so badly, the auguries for his future as an actor don't look too bright.

Which would be an enormous pity. For him in the first place, but also, and equally, for those who admire and appreciate his craft. I hope Lady Luck is good to him, regardless of this fiasco.

On the contrary, Aunty. It wasn't as bad as I'd expected.

Alexander did a few predictable things as did the PR people. I will put up a detailed post in a bit.

Rohit has to do something about this but perhaps he just wants to bear it till the end.

Porus said that there is still some time to go before Alexander is defeated, so I expect this show to run for a few more months based on that. Doesn't look like we'll see the final battle anytime soon and SidT wants to maximize the use of all his sets, Faras included.

I expect CGM to appear after the mention of Seleucus Nicator.

What admirable resilience! Just goes to show what a difference perspective can make.I am afraid I am very far from matching either your resilience or your perspective.

Since you are evidently settling in for the long haul, good luck with the rest of the show. I am sure Luckysnow will turn up sooner than you would expect him, so the forum will.stay alive.

But don't look around too much for Chandragupta Maurya. Sony Seleucus is in Faras, and the real one had nothing to do with Chandragupta Maurya till after Alexander had left India.
