Forgiveness is such a simple word but its so hard to do when you have been hurt.
Annika has been bruised and her soul battered till there was was no blood left to bleed.All because of a misunderstanding planted by a snake in the grass as it oft is.SSO being an egoist and loner with a past sad history,had a jaundiced and prejudiced view aginst the feminine species except for his sister and his daadi and so he went on a rampage,little undestanding the extent of horror he unleashed.
Now,he realises what he has done and repents his actions.
Annika stands tall.She had good intentions,albeit a bit off the mark in her planning,but nevertheless honourable.And honourable she is now in the eyes of the entire Oberoi family who I feel should wipe her feet at least once! She saved their daughter and dignity and is on her way of saving the scion nowđ
Considering her work finished after exposing Daksh, Annika leaves Oberoi mansion and in the process leaves a deep crater of guilt and shame and LOVE in SSO's heart.
SSO goes after her and in the process some seetee maro bits for me in the episode :

The sister roars for her sister brushing away the fact that she holds the collar of a big shot;only her anger and her worry and despair for her sister overflowed đđ

SSO saying "Annika ki izzat Shivaay Singh Oberoi ki izzat" and sealing that volcanic lava expulging mouth of chachi.đđđ
3] Goons teasing Annika and asking her rate for one nightđĄ and bam! comes SSO as an avenging angel
What follows is mayhem.SSO with one hand clutching the mangalsutra Annika left behind,(yes,that very one which he himself had torn after putting it on her neck !) takes class of 4 healthy and muscular goons beating them to a pulp.
BUT
4] What follows is what made me shed a few tears.Annika stops SSO and questions his right to beat the goons as she feels they were no different from him.In fact whatever badmouthing they were doing-calling her a rakhel was initiated by HIM!
Man! that broke my heart đ I cried for both---My Annie and my Shivaayđ
5] Shivaay Singh Oberoi realises the extent of destruction his anger had wrecked on Annika's life and even his own.His pain in the heart for his very own evil deeds can only be overpowered by physical pain and so inflicts physical pain on himself by asking the goons to beat him!
Annika,tries to harden her heart but love still shines through the cracks and she calls Omkara to take back his unconscious brother.
This capture had my heart----đ
Till now,it is all about Shivaay Singh Oberoi-----his guilt,his repentence,his demanding sorry.Where is that part where he puts Annika's wishes first? Where is that understanding of her life,her daily routine,her strength of character and where is that prayer for forgiveness? MAAFI KAMAAYI JAATI HAIN!
6] So starts the second half of the khirkitod episode where SSO understands or tries to understand Annika's hurt and puts her before self-----baby steps of opening his heart to her and winning her heart in the processâ¤ď¸
SSO goes to Annika's new home and waits for her approval silently and patiently.He sees her slippears tear up and her walking barefoot.What follows is deeply symbolic,best explained by my friend Mon- "He got himself beat up as self infliction of pain due to his guilt. Shoe scene isn't about his guilt. He is trying to feel her pain which he failed to do last week. It's his almost childlike attempt to be one with her because right now she is way too far" đ
Annika tries to harden her soft heart,internally failing miserably but externally appear unperturbed by SSO's presence. [ Let me confess, I failed miserably both internally and externallyđ Those eyes and that puppy dog face got to međđ]
7] Annika trips and the broad chest,strong shoulders and the strong pair of hands steady her------the very arms that dragged her to the mandir and threw her down,now steadies her and prevents her from fallingđđđ
Annika leaves but SSO stands erect in front of her home.He will leave only when he has been given the alm of forgiveness------"Tere dwaar pe khade hain jogi"
The day draws to a close.
Annika comes back but finds SSO still waiting at the spot where she left him.Feeling restless and uneasy because she ignored him by hardening her heart,she draws the curtain shutting him off from her eyes.
The best part of the episode was yet to come.When it came,the rainfall soaking Shivaay Singh Oberoi soaked my anger for his black deeds and made it a pulp and washed it away [I admit I am too shallow and get taken in by handsome hunks with kanji eyes and a puppy dog expressionđđ]

My defensive wall against Shivaay Singh Oberoi lies in ruins after the episode and I hope Annika's bruises heal.I know it will take time but let it start.
Amen.
Before I end this long post I will quote my favourite playwright.This is for all who still feel it is not good enough a start by SSO in his journey towards earning forgiveness from Annika,earning her respect and ultimately her LOVE-----
