With actresses I have this desire that a random girl nonstar kid becomes a huge hit something that happened with Madhuri or Ash when they started their career

Sadly I see no one in sight who can fit the bill

Within the next couple of years, there will be so much new talent and weeding out that I think the whole number game will be confused itself😆 people will say alia based on box office success...but number 1 is a combination of things. right now its deepika...I dont think she will lose her position for another 2 years at least. if she does, it alia will overtake her because she is continuosly working and is eyeing it you can tell, or it may be someone who will shoot out of nowhere (I hope this happens😆)

Actresses it's tough to say because the BO is driven by hero/ director. Doing good roles or unconventional ones is Alia.

She does masala roles too.

DP is into typical heroine roles only.

Kangana also does not her Hrithik fiasco cost her image. Not sure if shree would do glam doll role. Vidya is fine but she isn't a glam doll.

The ones coming in big films being made now:

Deepika: no film,but top actress. can so a padmavat and dhoom at the same time.⭐️

Disha Patani: good looking, but found her average in Baaghi 2😭

Jhanvi kapoor: too soon to say anything🤔

Aliya Bhatt: successful and has no immediate competition but cant imagine her in dhoom/race. 😆

Fatima Sana : Ofcourse thugs will do well. but i find her very attention seeking..and sadak chaap personality. 🤢

Sara ali khan: too soon, but shows promise.lets see😳

Anushka : good actress. dont see her going anywhere soon.👍🏼

Kangana: lets see how her maanikarna fares..but she needs commercial/entertaining films like queen and tanu weds manu.

Amogst the older ones,they do not feature often but still have an audience

Kareena: shes a superstar. everyone from her time has gone but she's still there- AND STILL FRESH!

Priyanka's time seems up with limited bollywood films and shes not complaining !😉

Vidya: shes in her own league with good roles,but not the young bollywood types.

Rani: i hope she does a film with Aamir !

Going by pattern it is hard to predict who is going to be #1 or if there will even be a #1. In the past we have had phases where 3-4 top actresses were more or less all equal. Whenever an actress did shoot up to the top it was unpredictable. I don't think anyone predicted the same Priyanka who was doing shitty movies with Bobby Deol, Sanjay Dutt, and Salman would do Fashion and completely change course. No one could've predicted Kangana no longer doing stupid forgetful roles with Ajay Devgan and becoming a Queen on her own. No one could've predicted all big actresses taking a vacation and Deepika being part of 4 hits in one year after doing bunch movies where her roles were as memorable as Jacqueline's current roles.

So really YOU NEVER KNOW! You don't know which actress will pick up what movie and what they might do with it. I hope they all shine, so we can get a golden generation of good actresses. We have had really bad luck with actresses in recent years
