Was Preity Zinta cringeworthy in KHNH?

This is the movie that made Preity's career.
Kareena was the original choice. I wonder if
Kareena had done it would this movie be successful?
Preity was natural but I have read on this forum people
didn't like her performance. What do you think?

The whole plot was cringeworthy. Everyone is trying to make decisions for other's life.😆

I think worst was Aman. I hate who act unnecessarily mahaan.

i never understood what was the point of her role anyway...

she was a nerd...love with shahrukh...but forced to love saif...later finds out srk loved her too but sacrificed his love..still she married saif (it was never evidently shown whether she loved saif or not but she married him just because srk wants to see her happy...how stupid, childish the plot is..

n worst - she got best actress filmfare award instead of Urmila in Bhoot.

Preity was great in KHNH. I would say it is arguably her best performance. The plot may have been cringeworthy but PZ did great with whatever she had. I can not see Kareena playing Naina at all.
