Why is Mithun named as Sridevi's former Spouse in wiki & google?

How come none from their family bother to take down this information from wiki ? Both Sridevi & Mithun were India's Most Famous & recognizable stars in 80s.So how it is possible for them to get hitched without the media glare?

Because there were rumors that they got married.

The actress had come in between Mithun and his wife Yogeeta Bali, got married to him in 1985 and later got it annulled in 1988.

While there is no strong proof of it, there are several sources and reports which confirm this story. The actress's wikipedia account too states that she was married to Mithun for three years.

Mithun admitted to their marriage after some magazine published their marriage certificate. His wife tried to commit suicide ,so he went back to her. Also Mithun was jealous of Sridevi's friendship with Boney so asked her to tie a rakhi to him.
