from his own show. The actress, in her
statement, revealed about how he offered
her lift to the sets, and then followed her to
the makeup room, where he then raped her.
The hearing took place at a special women's
court on Wednesday, where Mukesh Mishra
was sentenced to seven years in jail, along

committed the crime in the year 2012.
According to the prosecution, the victim was
working in the television serial Ek Veer Ki
Ardaas - Veera in 2012 and the accused
Mukesh Mishra, who was the executive
producer of the serial, was aware of the
shooting schedules of all the
artists.
The victim stated that on December 12,
2012, the producer called the actress and
asked her to wait at the Jogeshwari station,
where he arrived on his black Pulsar bike
and offered to give her a lift till the sets, as
both of them had to go to the same place,
but on reaching the place, he followed her
to the makeup room, where he committed
the crime. Mishra had called the actress at
Jogeshwari station on the pretext that a bus
is arranged to pick up all the artists for the
shoot, and it will drop them at their set's
location.
According to the reports, the statement of a
sweeper was considered, as he saw Mishra
entering the victim's makeup room. Also,
from the entry in the register, it was proved
that both the accused and the victim were
present on the sets that day.
