New version better than Original

This is the era of remakes/remixes/Adaptations...Usually the original always remains the more loved one due various reasons like the nostalgia factor,originality,better quality,old is gold believes etc..So my question is have you ever felt that the newer version (be it a remake/remix/Adaptations/dubbed version) of a song or movie is better than the original?

Edit-You can include sequels of movies as well

I have felt it a few times,

I like new Tamma Tamma (never liked the original)

I loved Dil hai chhota sa, chhoti si asha more than the original chinna chinna aasai because of the lyrics.

Same for Urvashi Urvashi song..

I liked the Telugu version of Kushi more than Tamil one(In Tamil jyothika was so OTT and she single handedly ruined it for me and also Telugu hero did better than Vijay,and it's coming from a Vijay fan)

I loved Gilli(Tamil) more than Okkadu(Telugu)..Vijay killed it👏.

I agree with Tamma Tamma.
Can't recollect any other songs at this point but there are many. Even though I don't like people using old songs in new movies but yes, there are some where they made the song much better.

I guess tamma tamma was better, maybe, I don't even remember the original much.

Another remake which I feel was better than the original was AGNEEPATH

Dilbar's video for me.
While original had better vocals but video wise new one trumps for me.
Same about Kala Chashma.

I prefer Teri Fariyaad (Tum Bin 2) over Koyi Fariyaad (Tum Bin). The occasional tune between the lyrics is really good. Rekha Bhardwaaj's was a bonus.

I love both Dilbar version equally,video as well as audio..Neha kakkar voice is hipnotizing.

Kala Chashma original I have not seen but new version is killer.
