Priyanka Chopra has decided to quit Salman Khan's Bharat and it is said to because of her wedding to Nick Jonas. Sources reveal that the development happened late Thursday evening and the actress's decision to quit the film has left Salman baffled. Priyanka was gearing up to start the shoot on Bharat in between her meetings with Farhan Akhtar for The Sky is Pink. If at all this news of PC quitting Bharat is true, it might definitely affect her professional and personal equation with Salman. Those close to the actor maintain how rigid he is about committing to a film and will he forget Priyanka's decision only time will tell. Yes, it is pretty shocking because like you, we were waiting for these two actors to reunite in a film since forever. Salman had already begun shooting for the film by getting a new look. He will be seen ageing from 18 years to 70 years in the film. In fact, PC was supposed to join the shoot by next month. Disha Patani and Salman were shooting a few scenes in a circus in the last couple of days. This definitely is a shocker if you ask us. The way Salman welcomed PC to Bharat and the way she replied to him made us believe Bharat will be one of the most anticipated films of 2019. Like Salman, Priyanka was supposed to sport different looks in the film as well. We were the first ones to tell you that PC was not doing this film for free or for Ali Abbas Zafar, as reported by many. A source close to the project had informed us, "Priyanka is definitely not doing Bharat for free and she is charging a fee like any other actress in the industry.

Bollywood Life made up the most unbelievable reason! 😆 Priyanka would only walk out of a project if she doesn't have faith in it or needs to give those dates to another, better project. Mumbai Mirror's theory is a bit more believable. Might just be a rumour but let's see.

Mirror was the fi rst to inform (April 17) that Priyanka Choprawould be reuniting with Salman Khan, a decade after Rumi Jaffrey's 2008 fantasy-comedy God Tussi Great Ho, in Ali Abbas Zafar's period-drama Bharat. Now, we have learnt that the actress has exited the fi lm. She conveyed the news to the fi lm's team on Thursday, telling them that she had bagged a bigger project.

According to a source close to the development, Priyanka was to begin shooting in mid-August after a 10-day schedule of Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink, the true-life story of Ayesha Chaudhary, from August 8. Bharat had kicked off on last Sunday with Salman who plays a motorcycle stuntman and Disha who plays a trapeze artiste in a circus in the 1960s. This was followed by a twoday song picturised on the duo and choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant, which started on Thursday.

Salman and Priyanka were earlier seen in David Dhawan's romcom, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004) and Nikkhil Advani's romance anthology, Salaam-e-Ishq (2007). Ali had earlier told Mirror, "Bharat is Priyanka's homecoming to Bollywood after having proved herself as a performer in a global TV show, Quantico, and in Hollywood. Priyanka is the biggest Indian artiste globally today and a perfect fit for the film as she brings to the table her incredible talent and international appeal.

This time, Ali remained unavailable for comment.

Nora Fatehi's inclusion was the reason why she quit. Her team was so enthused thinking Katty will do that role, they had already published some articles on it.. another A-lister doing a nachene-gaane-wali role where she is the main lead >>> A C-grader doing that nachne gaane wali role. Post-release the comparison PR would have helped her more if the former had happened.

I highly doubt Priyanka had any great role in this movie. There are so many actresses in the movie including Tabu, Disha and now Nora. She just wanted to be part of a big movie but it has become a circus now and she wouldn't have gained from it.

I think Nora is just a random item number they added after Dilbar became hit. Disha plays a trapezes artist which is only in one time period (so a song and a couple scenes). Not sure about Tabu's role. Priyanka had 5 looks and aging from 28 to 65 along with Salman in the movie. I'm sure Priyanka has a good reason to walk out of the film if she did indeed walk out.

Pc is not interested to do flower pot. Well that leaves Salman with only his hareem girls option. No top actress is intrested in flower pot roles anymore.
