Attraction plays a important role in first glance and that's what Roop feels, and basically we all feel in real life too and is natural human emotion lol.
If attraction and love at first sight or falling in love along the way each time you meet is a problem and somehow it should not mean true love, and just infatuating then i think we should be questioning most of the indian tv shows who do this and show this, 😆 esp the ones who have eyelocks/hair flying/bg music etc
Why can't we see Good man with good values, a soft person fall in love with a beautiful woman as he gets to see many sides to her etc. It all can't be bad guy meets good girl and falls in love... or good guy meets rich girl or girl meets rich guy.
Here we have a good boy meets a fiery tempered but headstrong girl pairing
Roop and Ishika is not going to have the same Roop and Palak bond. Because their is a DIFFERENCE. One is a friendship. One is a romantic love!
Having a childhood bond does not mean its somehow treated the same as a potential romantic love/bond. Let the feelings and love grow between Roop and Ishika lol
Roop is also pulled towards her because each time because one she is beautiful BUT he learns & sees something new about Ishika and how she is despite the outer anger she has and also her being talkative when she gets going lol, (which partly in what she says is true esp her seeing the boy/girl holding hands situation and she stood up to them but she is misunderstood the situation and Roop), and he sees past that and he even stands up to it. So Roop is not infatuated but actually in his senses when he stands up to her or talks to her calmly which he normally does.
Basically i just see friendship between Palak and Roop because tha'ts how their scenes have been... even in dialogues they have said i am your best friend, not i am just the girl in your life but saying BEST FRIEND, which i think is purposely done even before the leap they same thing was mentioned.
I also don't think their could be progress in Roop and Palak if they get together, like i can't quite see their future, one because there is no way i see Palak standing up to Shamsher or the family or the society because she has known them long since childhood or see any change happening around them
Roop needs an equal partner to support him not just as a friend but more as a lover/life partner will do if he is to question the society and stand up - which Ishika does, and seems like that is the description and premise for her character. Hence why i can understand the route maybe the CVs have gone with this
Also this is not a simple love story maybe to begin with it is, whilst RooShika gets established and start falling in love etc but the main issues and problems will arise when they will need to fight against the world and family esp if Shamsher says something or Ishika's family. And also how to navigate after marriage esp if she wants to go out and work etc... Why can't men and women be treated differently, and study and work etc. This is the scenerio and route i think they are going for IMO
And then their is Ranveer... i still feel like maybe Ranveer and Palak could be paired up because in their it offers more scope... Ranveer seems to be the bad guy with grey shades, and maybe Palak with her personality and so on can turn him around etc. Also Neil is a good actor, i liked him in Gulaal and also seems like him and Chandani/Palak would look good together. Anyways this is just my thinking for now.
