Kasauti Zindagi Kay's original Anurag aka
Cezanne Khan has been missing from the
Indian television scene for quite some time.
But that doesn't mean he's out of work.
After settling down in Pakistan, the actors
has been working in Pak daily soaps.
Now that the show that made him a
household name--Kasauti Zindagi Kay--is
coming back to the screen with a fresh star
cast as a remake. Parth Samthaan will step
into the shoes of Cezanne Khan as Anurag,
Erica Fernandes will be seen as Prerna
Sharma, while Hina Khan will portray
Komolika.
The actor in a recent interview with
Hindustan Times recalled his Kasauti days
and said that he enjoyed playing Anurag
Basu. He also said that he hasn't seen more
than 20 episodes of the show due to his
hectic schedule.
"I really enjoyed being on the show and
playing the role of Anurag Basu on KSK. The
show rocked and how. Everything I have
today is because of it. KSK was always in the
top 10 shows on the ratings chart. Though,
I didn't get much time to watch the serial
myself as I was shooting non-stop, from the
1400-plus episodes, I must have seen some
20 episodes because I was dubbing for the
scenes in them. I wish the team all the luck
for the reboot," said the actor.
Cezanne is open to working in Indian
shows, and has been getting offers for
reality shows. But he would rather pick a
daily than a reality show.
"I want to work but I need to find
something worth it. I don't want to take on
a show for the sake of it. I want to enjoy the
work that I do and once you take up a
project, like a daily soap, you end up living
on the set. So, it has to be something which
gives me satisfaction and fun. For me,
money has never played an important role in
considering a project but the role and the
project. I get offers for reality shows but I
am not comfortable doing them. I would
rather do a daily soap."
"I can never forget the show that gave me
everything - popularity and success. The
idea of rebooting an old hit show is
refreshing and amazing," he said about the
reboot.
The rebooted version of Kasauti Zindagi Kay
will start airing next month.

cezanne is from rich family so money never mattered to him. he even shot for yeh hai.mihabettein after patching up with ekta but don't know what happened.

whts more funny how these flop actors and actresses fans gloat that they wont work with ekta n in saas bahu shows. loke ekta is dyjng to work with these non entities. But whenever such show offers come.and their fave take up the opportunity . N putting a slap on their fans faces. it always makes me laugh so hard. specially Erica fans who were claiming she would never work with ekta as she was very progressive in krpkab . yeah very progressive by playing a doormat in that show.

. Actual progressive woman was like prerna who was a strong woman n never forgave the people for their wrong deeds. 😆
