Kartik Aaryan REPLACES Sidharth Malhotra in the official remake of Kirik Party

2018 is turning out to be a great year for Kartik Aaryan. After the grand success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety at the box office, the actor recently signed Luka Chuppi, where he'll romance Kriti Sanon. And now Kartik has replaced Sidharth Malhotra, in the official remake of the blockbuster Kannada film Kirik Party. The untitled venture will be directed by national award winner Abhishek Jain, who is known for delivering hit Gujarati hit films like Wrong Side Raju and Bey Yaar. The rom-com musical will be co-produced by Kyta Production, who recently tasted the success with Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran. It is set to go on the floors in the month of October.

Confirming the news producer Ajay Kapoor said,We at Kyta Productions are very excited to start work on the Hindi remake of Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party with Gen-X star Kartik Aaryan. The film will also mark the directorial debut of Abhishek Jain, an extremely talented filmmaker. The film will go on floors this October. Kyta Productions already has two under its kitty which includes RAW (Romeo Akbar Walter) starring John Abraham and Vishal Bharadwaj's directorial Pataakha. The film will be produced by Dheeraj Wadhawan, Ajay Kapoor of Kyta Productions and Vrithika Laykar. Talking about Kirik Party, it is one of the highest grossing Kannada films which ran in cinemas for an impressive 150 days.
