She woke up in the morning to find him gone. She looked around the bed and then at herself. She was clad in his shirt. She dint remember wearing it. A small smile made up to her face. She held her nuptial chain, and kissed it. A Minute later she frowned.
Whatever happened the previous night was in a state of confusion, and overpowering emotions and fueling desire. What if? What if he dint accept it?
Maybe his absence was the reason. She felt terrible. A click brought her out of her thoughts. He stepped out of the washroom dressed in his three piece suit, his face wearing the same old expression, his eyes holding nothing she had seen last night in them.
He barely looked at her. While she sat on the bed her eyes following him around. She had gathered the sheets closer to her as embarrassment made way.
He set his hair, wore his watch, picked up necessary files and began to walk out of the room. She sighed and looked down. She wanted this marriage no more. The man couldn't lobe her back. While still in a part of her she loved him.
She looked up suddenly when he turned before leaving and looked at her. "Good morning!"
She sat tight-lipped wondering whether he said that or she imagined. He waited for her response, that never came. "Bye." He left.
Sh blinked. Was it him!?
She got off the bed quickly, ran to tye door and peeked out. Thankfully his shirt came down until her upper thighs.Finding no one around she stepped out and looked from the railing. He was walking down the curved staircase. She smiled. He adjusted his watch making to the gate, that's when his eyes fell on the mirror.
And a smile made way. He was astonished more than her at himself. He was smiling for what? Nothing!
Shaking his head he walked out without turning back. A hint of that smile still remained somewhere in him.

She looked at the clock. She was beginning to feel scared. The storm was bad and he hadn't returned. The servants had gone except one who was to stay over.
Another loud thunder roared, and she shuddered. This time the lights went off to. The power was down. She cursed. Waiting for the back up to perform its needful. The lights never restored. She was beginning to panic. She hated the darkness. The storm was getting worse outside and the rain harder. She stepped out into the balcony. Seemed like the entire town was out of lights. Soon her eyes got accustomed to the darkness. She rubbed her palms over her arms as she stood looking at the shining droplets hanging like diamonds at the railings edge.
She dint realise when he had stepped inside the balcony. She sat as staring up at Tue raining clouds, and lost in the whispers of the biting wind.
He looked at her intently. He wanted tobwrap his arms around her and enclose her in himself.
"Anika?'
" Huh!' She yelped in sudden shock then calmed on seeing him.
She was close to shivering.
"Why are you out?"
She simply looked at him. Then back at the night sky. "I don't know."
"Come in."
"No. Its dark.'
He looked at her in surprise. She was afraid of darkness? He dint know that!
He disappeared and returned after lighting enough candles to light up the room. She was standing with closed eyes. She dint hear him step back into the balcony.
He looked at her. There was something about her he couldn't understand. He wanted to understand that. His hands as though on their own accord, wrapped around her, while he stood behind her.
A smile made to her lips, and a tear tolled down her cheek. The Tempest was soothing her. Giving her the warmth she had craved for.
She turned, slightly. He dint let her turn completely. He kissed her neck and nuzzled into her locks.
She took in a hitch breath. " shivaay!"
She finally turned to face him.
"I don't understand you.'
He was breathing heavily. Hr dint understand her either.
He was frustrated at himself for giving in to her. He should hate her, right?
He turned back to go into the room. She held his hand. " You can't leave like that. "
In a fitvof rage he pulled her closer and then showed her to wall. "What's your problem?"
"Exactly. What's your problem?" She looked up fiercely back at his eyes.
For a minute he was lost in that aggressive look.
"Why are you like this?"
"None. Of your business. " he replied sharply.
She was enraged. " you can't treat me like this "
"You brought yourself into my life!" He spat
"Fine. Let me then go, far away. "
He looked at her furiously and tapped his hand on the wall. The next minute he was kissing her like crazy and she was responding with equal ferocity. They wanted each other . But they couldn't figure out a way.
Before they could understand and comprehend. The night ended up like the previous!
I m trying something very different. Don't know how it's turning out.
