2.-----------------
The weather was turning still unruly by the minute. The thunder reverberated. She looked up at the unmerciful sky. There was a instant flash of light and she looked down immediately. Preparing herself to hear the wicked thunder again. On cue the skies vibrated producing a dreadful sound.
She trembled slightly. But felt a strong hold on her arm. She looked up, he stood their. Under a big, strong widespread umbrella. His expression as stiff as the umbrella against the wind.
"Come."
She stared at him. If eyes could torture hers were doing just that to him. He felt nothing. He saw nothing. Her eyes said nothing to him.
She nodded in disapproval.
He loured at her. One strong move, she was up on her feet, being dragged away by him.
"You are stubborn." His crisp voice fell in her ears.
"You are heartless!" She spat.
"I had warned you." He said simply looking ahead.
The wind blew the cold raindrops against them. She shivered. He remained unaffected. The freezing drops were stings to her exposed skin.
Her feet were giving away, she was trembling due to cold. His gait was unaltered.
She made it hard for him to maintain his speed. He grabbed her waist, pulled her closer and walked. Sparing not a single glance. She felt warm, now, against his frame. She blinked her eyes. Tears would be mistaken for rain drops. Not that they mattered to him.
The rain never mattered to the Tempest.
The Tempest ruled as it wished to. It was unaffected, unaltered, and influenced by nothing!
-------------
She pulled her sweater closer, still sitting by the window. The cracking fire in the fireplace of the room warmed the room. But her soul was still cold. Very Cold.
-------------
"You should have considered my warning." He spoke, standing by her side a little distance away, looking out.
She wiped her tears and sat up straight.
He sipped his whisky. He felt warm on the inside but loved the cold outside.
"I thought things would change!" She put her hands together, rubbing them.
"Before the wedding I warned you, did everything I could to push you away. You were adamant. You are my responsibility now. Better get used to my ways and just my ways. Your stubbornness won't work. I warned you I m a Storm. I will do nothing but cause havoc and wreck you!" His voice was colder than the weather outside.
She looked at him. Why was he Like this? But wasn't it this very style, this very attitude, this very coldness that attracted her to him like a moth to flame?
He had warned her. Positive. He had gone all the way to call off their wedding. Positive.
She faced all that and got what she wanted. Him. But she never got him.
"Somethings look beautiful from distance,
The closer you get the uglier, they become." He said giving her a warning glance.
"Remember this." He disappeared as fast as he had come.
