Raman came out of his house and said to his driver settling in the car -airport le chalo.
Driver nodded and start the car but to his disappointment the car didn't started. He tried one or two time more but the car didn't start.
Raman -what happened??
Driver -dont know sir, let me check. Give me a minute. He said and went out to check while Raman was waiting impatiently.
After ten minutes, Raman -do it fast, I am getting late.
Driver -it will take a while to fix sir, I think u should take a cab.
Raman made a face and said -what the heck.
Driver -really sorry sir, but can't help. It broke down all of a sudden.
Raman -its OK, he said and get out of the car taking his laptop bag. He came out and look around for a cab but sadly couldn't find any. He thought for ola and booked the nearest cab.
After two minutes, a red Santro came and the door got opened. Raman made a face seeing the car but can't help as he was in a hurry and that's the nearest cab available. He sat in and said the OTP. She entered it and said thanks. He raised his head hearing a female voice and saw a beautiful girl sitting on the driver seat. Her long hair were tied in a high pony and she was wearing a blue tee and denims, may be damaged one. She has done minimal makeup but was still looking too pretty.
Raman look at her thourougly when she said -u wanna go to airport??
Raman -yes. He said and she start driving.
Raman was looking continuously at her when she finally said -i know I am pretty but stop staring. It's making me uncomfortable.
Raman felt embarrassed at her words and said -sorry.
She smiled and said -its OK, now tell me why u r staring me.
Raman -actually u r a girl that's why.
Ishita -oh, that's the problem. But sorry I can't do anything for it. Aapko aise hi adjust karna padega.
Raman -no no, I don't mean to say that. I mean being a girl u r driving a cab.
Ishita -ab sir, drive karne ke liye gender toh nahi badal sakti naa. She said smiling making him smile too.
Raman -pretty intelligent u r, actually too wicked. May I know ur name.
Ishita -its there, u can read.
Raman look at his mobile and said -ishita.
Ishita -thats I am.
Raman -hi, I am raman bhalla.
Ishita -hello sir.
Raman -can I ask why u drive cabs, koi aur kaam nahi mila kya.
Ishita -nahi, u can't ask. I am ur driver for the day and u r not allowed to ask personal question.
Raman -ok, can u play the music.
Ishita -sure, she said and start the radio. The song, bol do zara, was being played.
Raman look at her and sung-dekha jab se hai chehra tera, Main toh hafton se soya nahi, bol do naa zara, dil mein joh hai chupa, Main kisi se kahunga nahi. He was singing the song when she said -u sing pretty well.
Raman -thanks. Waise how much time it will take to reach airport. My flight is after three hours.
Ishita -u will be on time sir, she said and faster the speed.
Raman -careful, be careful ishita.
Ishita -sir, just because I am a girl don't think that I am incapable of handling the steering wheel.
Raman -nothing like that, it's just I want both of us safe, he said making her blush unknowingly.
Ishita -we r fine, sir. She said and continued driving while Raman was checking her out time to time. She was also looking at him time to time and their eyes were getting lock for brief eyelocks.
Soon they reach the airport,
Ishita -we reached sir, on time. She said smiling making him smile too. He thanked her and went out. She was taking reverse while Raman was just turning and looking at her again and again.
Soon he was in flight going to Bangalore for his official meeting while his mind was still stuck on ishita. He was very much impressed with her attitude, her behaviour. He was really liking her, specially her sharp features, her beautiful face was making him think about her again and again.
It was three day trip for Raman. He reached their and conducted the meetings, presented his presentation and finally today he was coming back to delhi. Through out the trip he was thinking about ishita and the song, dekha jab se hai chehra tera, Main toh hafton se soya nahi, was playing in his mind continuously as he really couldnt sleep since he met her.
Raman came out of the airport and looked for ola thinking to find her cab near by but sadly she was nowhere. He even cancelled many cabs just for that and finally called her searching her number by his last ride.
Ishita was sitting in the dhaba and was ordering food when her phone rang. She picked it and said -hello.
Raman -come to pick me, I am back in town.
Ishita -ji, kaun??
Raman -raman.
Ishita -raman, who Raman??
Raman -raman bhalla, the one whom u drop at airport three days ago. I am back, come and pick me from domestic Airport. I am waiting.
Ishita smiled remembering him and an unknown blush crept in her face.
Raman -so r u coming??
Ishita -main toh dur hoon, aap wahin se koi cab kar lijiye .u will get at affordable price.
Raman -i don't want any cab, I want u. Tum aa rahi ho naa.
Ishita -woh actually,
Raman -kuch problem hai, busy ho??
Ishita -actually I was eating.
Raman think for a while and said -come, we will have food together.
Ishita -ji.
Raman -yes, I am also hungry. Come we will have food together.
Ishita -main aapke saath kaise??
Raman -come naa, I am very tired and hungry too. I am waiting. He said and hung the call.
Ishita thought for a while and then went to her car. She settled inside and drove towards airport. In the way, she stopped and checked herself. She open her hair, combed it and then half clutched it with a hair pin. She applied a nude lipstick and then said -perfect. Saying so she start driving and soon she reached airport. She came out and was looking for him when she saw him coming wearing a grey shirt with denims. He smiled fully seeing her and said -u r late.
Ishita -woh, traffic tha.
Raman -its OK, let's go. He said and went towards the car. Though he was feeling an urge to hug her but was stopping himself any how. He was looking at her all lost, today she was wearing a white and pink floral top with denim capri with sneakers. Her long hair were felt open with beautiful curls making her look more beautiful then their last meeting.
He smiled and was going behind her when a bike passed zooming very close to her. She got disbalanced and was about to fall when he pulled her closer and hold her by waist. She closed her eyes in fear while he was looking at her all lost. He tucked the single strand of hair behind her ear and said -u r safe.
She opened her eyes hearing him and look at her. He was already looking at her smiling, both shared a beautiful eyelock and he took her in his arms. She closed her eyes feeling good in his arms while he said -i missed u.
Ishita don't know how to react, she was just standing like a statue while he went breaking the hug.
Seeing her still standing there, he said -lets go. I am hungry.
Ishita look at him and said -lets go. Saying so she settled in the car and said -kahan chalna hai.
Raman -ghar chalo. Jahan se mujhe pick kiya tha.
Ishita made a face and thought -khane par se utha liya aur ab ghar chal rahe hai. Chodo waise bhi, he don't owe u an explanation. She thought and start driving.
On the other hand, Raman was enjoying her cute faces.
Soon they reach his house and she said -we reached sir.
Raman came out and ishita said -430 sir.
Raman -woh toh main pay kar hi dunga. Pehle aao,kuch kha liya jaaye. U were hungry naa.
Ishita -but Kahan, we reached ur house.
Raman -and every house has a kitchen. Come with me.
Ishita -aapke ghar mein khana, nahi sir. It doesn't look good.
Raman -i think u r not coming thinking its risky. Tumhe mujhse darr toh nahi lag raha.
Ishita -nahi, it's not like this.
Raman -toh come, please, I insist.
Ishita thought for a while and then went with him. He took her with him and she was looking around. It was a big beautiful bungalow, she was feeling awkward walking inside such a big bungalow. She turned and said -mujhe bhookh nahi lagi, let me go. Saying so she was going when he hold her hand and said -ishita, chalo bhi. Saying so he took her to the door and rang the bell.
A lady open the door and welcomed them. Ishita walked inside reluctantly when the lady said-sir lunch bana diya hai. I am going to my house, will be back in an hour.
Raman nodded and she went. Ishita was walking slowly when Raman said -tum yahan baitho, Main freshen up ho kar aata hoon. Saying so he went inside while ishita was looking around.
She sat on the couch and said -yeh tu kya kar rahi hai ishu, yeh aadmi tujhe yahan le aaya aur tu pagal ki tarah chali bhi aayi. Jaanti nahi aaj kal kitne crime hote hai. Aise hi log seedhi saadhi ladkiyon ko phansate hai. Warna itna ameer aadmi tujhe kyun ghar laayega. I am sure he want something from me, but kya, meri izzat. No no, I can't stay here, mujhe bhaag jaana chahiye. Thinking so she got up and was going when she heard, Kahan jaa rahi ho??
She turned and saw him standing wearing a black tshirt with white khaki pants.
Ishita -dekho,mujhe judo-karate aata hai. Mere kareeb mat aana warna abhi dher kar dungi.
Raman smiled hearing her and said walking close to her slowly -aur agar mujhe tumse darr nahi lagaa toh.
Ishita got scared but made a strong face and said -dekho, I am warning u. Stay away from me. Main bahut khatarnaak hoon.
Raman smiled more hearing this and said -yes, I can see it. Tum wakai bahut khatarnaak hai. He said and went more closer to her.
Her eyes got welled up seeing him coming closer and said folding her hands-please mujhe jaane dijiye. Main bahut gareeb ladki hoon, mera koi nahi hai. Naa amma -appa, naa koi bhai-behen. Main mar gayi toh koi mujhe dhoondhega bhi nahi. I am a very easy pray for u but please mere saath kuch mat kijiye, Main jeena chahti hoon. Mujhe rape karke mat maariye. She said almost crying while Raman's expression changed seeing her crying.
He went close to her and said -hey ishita, stop crying. I am not going to do anything. Main toh bas mazaak kar raha tha. I took u home coz I don't like hotel food. And was really tired to wait for food in hotel. So I took u home, aunty(help) se keh kar tumhare liye special dishes bhi banwaye hai. I don't had any other thing in my mind. I just wanted to be a good host to u. Aur kuch nahi chaha tha, sach mein. He said looking at her while she was just looking at him trying to understand his words.
He wiped her tears and said -really, aur kuch nahi chahta tha. I took u home kyunki aunty bahut achcha khana banati hai. Aur koi baat nahi hai. If u don't believe, Main change karke aata hoon and we will go out.then it will be fine naa. He was saying while she was just looking at him. She could feel the guilt in his eyes for scaring her.
Ishita -aap sach mera rape karke mujhe maroge nahi.
Raman -nahi, why will I. Am I looking like a criminal. He asked while she kept her head on his chest and burst into tears.
Ishita -i am sorry, I misunderstood u. But I was scared, very scared. Main marna nahi chahti. I want to live a happy life. She said crying while Raman wrapped her in his arms .
Raman -shh, don't cry. Kuch nahi hua, kuch bhi nahi.
Ishita -i am sorry, really sorry. Maine kitna ganda ganda bola aapko.
Raman -its OK ishita, it wasn't ur fault. Duniya ho itni gandi hai, u just can't trust anyone. He said breaking the hug and said -chalo,lets have food. I am really hungry. He said to which she nodded and both went to have food together.
