After the leap, it is shown that Ritwik will be engaged to Ananya and their marriage will be on cards. We all know Ritwik will fall in love with Palak after this leap. Ritwik will go through the same dilemma of keeping his family happy and get married to Ananya or take a stand for his love and Palak.
I do feel he will try hard to hide his feelings and just get married to Ananya but some twist will come (like K3G) where he will just get married to Palak in her weak moment. And this may happen just a few days before or on his wedding day with Ananya. This will put him in the same place as Samar. It may help him to see other perspective and he will forgive Samar as well as start forgiving people. Ritwik will know how it feels to be in a forced relationship when you love someone else.
