These two literally made me fall in love with them because they are so articulate, eloquent, they use language to explain concepts so well it is a pleasure to hear them speak. They are thoughtful answers. They also play off each other so well. For debutants theirs are some of the best interviews I have ever heard from BW actors. After sitting through some horrible ones, they are a real pleasure. But they don't seem too polished or ready, they come across as very natural, if this is an act they are better actors than I give them credit for. It is so lovely to see their enthusiasm and love for the film.
That said, they seem very sweet and naive and I am sad this may be crushed out of them due to choice or circumstances.

On the actual interview.

The best actors are the worst people. Jhanvi should look at her mom's filmography to learn about the personal lives of people who made those iconic movies. Sadma should learn about Shobha his wife's life on which the director based it. Horrible man who wrote a wonderful movie. Kamal, possibly one of the best actors of all time. Horrible human being. Raj Kapoor, Marlon Brando. More examples of bad people being excellent actors. Perhaps they put all their best emotions in their work their personal life suffers. My theory anyway.

Jhanvi comes across as sheltered and naive. She has to toughen up for she will face criticism not if.

I hope these two never lose their friendship.

Most of all though, what I see offscreen I do not see onscreen at all. It is mostly because it is Dharma culture I think. Very few films ike Raazi grounded in reality. I don't think they are capable of making an honest movie though Shashaank uses the word again and again. But I do not see evidence of it. I think the effort is honest and sincere, especially from these two and Shashaank. But for me, an honest movie is strongly grounded in reality, rural or urban and I am yet to see a Dharma movie that it is solidly based on. They just sugar coat reality. KJO did and so do his directors.

I wish Jhanvi could work with the stalwart directors of the Soulh that shaped her mom's career. But many are no more. I wish though she goes to the South to hone her craft, specifically Tamil and Malayalam. She will be a better actress for it. In BW she will just be a star more than actress, the way her mother was.

I look forward to their future work. I will give KJO credit for what I think he deserves. Discovering these two. If all insiders are like this, I will shut up about nepotism.

Which two popular actors in their house Ishaan was talking about?

Both are so cute together! I love their bickering ... can watch it all day long. Looks genuine friendship.

I loved the interview and I love Janhvi's awareness...i cant believe she said she might not even be the dirt of Madhubala's shoes lol...
Ishaan is good but I feel at times he is TOO confident and little bit of a "know-it-all"...I sometimes get the same vibe from Shahid too

This was a nice interview! Ishaan is obviously confident while Janhvi is docile but self aware. I hope they can maintain this innocence they have for as long as possible for BW is sure to change them.

Being confident is a good trait, not bad.

There's a difference between being eloquent in your speech and act like "know-it-all. With Ishaan it's the latter I think. And in Shahid's case ... wouldn't we want to be "know-it-all in our respective occupations?

I believe, the trait helps people grow in their professions. It's good be well informed.

Nice interview.
But One observation : Jhanvi should wear bit more comfortable dresses ? was she cold ? and she is always pulling her dress up while talking...have seen this earlier as well...
