Zeenet was furious about them marring Zara to kabeer instead of her sister but also because everyone prefers the kind loving Zara that always does good deeds putting others ahead of herself even the ones that hate her the most. Zeenet has several issues mostly insecurities. She believes that in time kabeer will be head of the household and as his wife Zara will have a higher authority then herself. She also believes that Ayesha loves Zara more giving Zara everything Zeenet was eyeing for herself, Zeenet thinks that Zara is everything and she has no value. Also because zara saved amaan from dieing when Zeenet forced her son to fast Zara became the family hero and shahbaz ordered that Zeenet cannot do anything in regards to her son without family approval first .That sent her flying over the edge making Zara her #1 enemy!
As for shahbaz he is more complicated. His number 1 goal is to kick Irfan out of the top position to hold it himself a very long time animosity and envy that's lasted for years! He gave up his position on the board to instill his son who is an Islamic scholar as kabeer has a mush stronger chance because of his education to become the top leader hence he was instantly voted vice kozy .
Shahbaz schemed and married kabeer to Zara for two reasons . The first being no way can he defy preets order of marrying the two nemesis's children to unite the people that have been split into groups . Like it or not to secure his goal he has to agree to the marriage but lucky for him he already had it in mind because Zara is kozys daughter and kabeer is vice kozy once married kabeer will surely become his father inlaws heir to that position of course along the way shahbaz would constantly nag irfan to give the position to kabeer . And it was true up until recently irfan did want to pass on his position to kabeer
But the masjid case made him rethink his decision.
Shahbaz isn't loyal to anyone but his ultimate goal which is the kozy seat ! Once kabeer gets it shahbaz will be ruler considering he controls his son.
As to what has Zara done to shahbaz she is in his way . Her modern thinking , strong character,and good nature unknowingly foils his plans . On more then one occasion kabeer saves irfan from a plot against him which of course makes his father unhappy
