Now imagine your husband being the emperor of known world who loves you like mad. You are pregnant with his child and he dies...and he has two wives (who he never loved) and one of them being high princes is saying that she is pregnant...Persians already hates you... Generals also hate you but are respectful only because of dead emperor... They are praying that you give birth to a girl...but you give the heir to the throne...your mother in law declares u the empress and other wives just concubiness...and one of them is going to give birth to a child...generals and Greek says because other is of high blood her child should sit on throne...

What would you do???

I think mother will go all out to safeguard her son... Exactly what olympias and roxana did in men dominated world...I know olympias went on killing spree but people she killed were trying to kill her grandson and daughter in law...

If my child is safe, I would do nothing. As raja ban na hi sab Kuch nhi h. But if my child is not safe, I will try to save my child.

You don't understand without removing Roxana and her child they couldn't have put Barsine and her child(if it was son) on throne...they tried to kill her but she escaped and later olympias saved her...

Plus she was not of royal blood that's why and I think Roxy was like Olympia with a sharp mind of her own with a strong personality and barsine was very tame in front of her so maybe they were wary of her
