Ajay and Ranbir starrer Luv Ranjan film to have a Christmas 2020 relea

fame managed to pull off an exciting
casting coup by roping in gen-X heartthrob
and a superstar for his next. Ranjan's
upcoming project will reunite Ajay Devgn
and Ranbir Kapoor after a hiatus of eight
years, as the duo was last seen together in
Raajneeti. However, with two biggies on
board, matching dates is no cakewalk as
appointment diaries are always running full,
a year in advance usually. Thus, Ranjan's
forthcoming, which was touted to roll this
December was pushed to next year. And a
leading daily now reports that the makers
are eyeing a Christmas 2020 release.
"The team is excited to collaborate with the
two powerhouse performers. When Ajay
and Ranbir had last worked together, the
latter was relatively new to the industry.
Also, they didn't really share much screen
time in Raajneeti. So, this will be something
that fans of both the stars will look out for,
the newspaper quoted a source as saying
in their report. Further adds the source,
"We are looking at a Christmas 2020
release.

Both Ajay and Ranbir have their platter full
at present. RK is shooting now
for Brahmastra, his supernatural film with
Ayan Mukerji. This will be followed by his
dacoit biopic Shamshera. He will complete
shooting for both these films early next
year. Ajay has his projects in hand too. He
has Total Dhamaal and Akiv Ali's film,
followed by the biopic Taanaji The
Unsung Warrior. Once they are done with
their individual film commitments, will they
collaborate on Luv's film.
The yet-to-be titled film is a dramatic love
story. Talking about the same, Ranbir
recently revealed to a news agency, "Luv
Ranjan's film will happen after I finish
Brahmastra and Shamshera. It is a dramatic
love story. So I am really looking forward to
that. It is something which Luv hasn't done
before, something which even Ajay sir and I
haven't done before.
Guess we will have to put our excitement
on hold until Christmas 2020 to see Ajay
and Ranbir light up our screens again!
