There was one guy who said Tamasha changed his life 😆 Personally I'd rather watch 3 Idiots if I wanted some inspiration for living my dream 😆 I agree about the performances. DP's best is Piku IMO and RK's best is Rockstar and Barfi but they were brilliant in Tamasha (RK in the second half to be precise cos I hated the first half). I honestly think he loves Imtiaz but is wary of working with him post Tamasha and his own disillusionment thanks to the successive failures. Thats literally the only good thing to come out of this cos I cant stand Imtiaz's films 😆

Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed the video, but yes 3 Idiots is a better film because it at least addresses the actual issues of pursuing your dream, Tamasha went off on a complete tangent with the emphasis on how not being able to pursue your dream affects your inner psyche etc. Which is why I can understand guys like myself saying 'it changed my life' because I really related to the whole not liking engineering / hating corporate job / wanting to pursue your own dream trope but even then that's a gross exaggeration, I feel you can either relate to a movie and love it / hate it / be indifferent, but change your life it probably can't lol. 😆DP was definitely excellent in Piku, I just liked Tamasha and her role in it more I guess. Ranbir was def. amazing in Rockstar but I never liked Barfi nor his performance in it (didn't enjoy the movie at all butI did think PC was amazing in it). I'm 90% sure Ranbir did Tamasha just for Imtiaz and to continue working with Imtiaz but is def. apprehensive about working with Imtiaz any more (like how he will be about working with Basu again). His career did take a big jolt with the continuous failures i.e. Bombay Velvet, Tamasha, even ADHM and then Jagga, but now that Sanju has put his career back on the rise, so his disillusionment with the hatke movies / interest in conventional 'masala' films now is visible in his next choices with Shamshera, Luv Ranjan movie etc.
