In the music categories, Shaan took Best Male Playback Singer for his rendition of 'Jab Se Tere Naina' in Saawariya, while shreya Ghoshal was announced Best Female Playback Singer for her delivery of the song 'Barso Re' from Guru.

In what was easily one of the evening's most hotly contested category, A R Rahman was declared the winner of the Best Music award for his score for the film Guru, beating other hopefuls as Vishal Shekhar for Om Shanti Om and Pritam for Jab We Met.

I was really hoping that Sonu wld get the award for "Main agar kahoon".i thought he had done fantastic job in that song.....Sad to know that he lost the award to Shaan😭.......Wht do u guys feel?

Anyway,Congrats to Shaan..Am also very happy for Shreya & A.R.R ..Excellent job by both of them 👏

Both the songs r beautifully rendered by the respective singers ....But I guess at last the towel scene by ranbir may be the deciding factor for the viewers😉 ..

I agree that Shaan did a very good job of Jabse tere naina....But maybe,I have slight bias for Sonu (😉)...dunno....I personally liked Sonu's Main agar kahoon better.....just an opinion..I am sure Shaan's award is well deserved.👏

Yes this song "Jab se tere naina" does not sound as good as the VS composition sung by Sonuji. Anyway the best does not always win; an early lesson from Zee too.

😆😆😆..Zee's teachings being applied practically in all spheres. 😉😆😆......Sonu has been out of luck wrt Filmfare awards for 4 continuous yrs now....Nominated fromm 2005 every year,but never won..Last filmfare trophy won was for "kal ho na ho" in 2004...maybe Filmfare is just not his lucky platform😕😊
