All the actors approached so far are rejecting the role of the grown up version of the boy simply because he is effeminate and don't want to risk their strong male image. These actors have proved by rejecting this role that they are acting not for creative satisfaction but merely for fame and to look good. Sucks because shivin would have been good in such a innocent male role.

Really...? But I have came across articles which hints shivin narang's new show will be produced by Sphere Origins. Yup he was approached by RS for roop but there was no further news on the same. I too would have loved to see him in roop'so character. He could have pulled it really well. I am surprised at these male artists who just for the sake of fame and in the tarnishing their so-called goody goody image on-screen refused the role to play. But I think there might be some twist in roop's character...the reason why everyone is rejecting it. Just like how saumya's character of shakti, here too a big twist might awaits for us...

I don't know, but I'm really disappointed at these actors. This whole obsession of maintaining a stereotypical masculine image is just plain stupidity by men, and hence I feel men have no right to judge women who want to wear makeup etc when they themselves are so adamant on keeping up society's idea of male attributes. This is an example of how vain men can be.

So true. ...hope the show enroll a good male lead for roop's character. Performance of whom lies the show's future and gaining good numbers.

But he too had rejected the role earlier. It was only when the script was altered than he opted for the role. Donno what was 8n the earlier script that it was rejected by the actors. Hope the makers don't have concepts like shakti in their brain.
All the best to shashank for the role!😊
