Stupidly I've managed to watch all the episodes without fail since that episode of sarla being blamed for poisoning the food at the luthra's function, and I can tell you that they actually mentioned that sarla agreed to prithvi's demand of getting the marriage done quickly (I think it was 2 days or 2 weeks) and after that they never mentioned anything about it. The writers completely forgot about that demand of prithvi as he had said he had a business reason for which he had to marry preeta quickly and go abroad.
