I missed some epi.last epi I saw was shivay's eidi to anika.thr nikah.nw when I saw epi its showing someone sunao anika tht anika's mom escaped with someone & media person told shivay pinky killed shakti knowing he had affair & killed herself also.
p.s-any chance shakti's affair with ani's mom

This is an alternate universe.They are exploring what would happen if shivika didn't meet each other in the temple like they did...they have changed the characters a bit/lot too...shivaay doesn't seem to care about NKK so much,has that angsty back story of his parents and anika is softer,calmer,typical bechaari...so yeah they are showing us the love story with changed situations and characters.
