The video shared by Virat Kohli went viral within minutes, however, many on twitter poked fun at it.

MUMBAI: A man littering on a road got an unexpected lesson today. Bollywood star Anushka Sharma stopped her car and gave piece of mind to a man after he threw garbage on the road.

In video tweeted by Virat Kohli, Anushka is seen asking a man in a car next to her's, "Why are you throwing garbage on the road?" After the sudden encounter, the man was taken aback.

Anushka can be heard further saying, "Please be careful, you can't just throw plastic around on the streets." Along with the video Virat Kohli, her husband and India's cricket captain, wrote, "Saw these people throwing garbage on the road & pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same & spread awareness."

History kehta hain..some people don't practice what they preach.. That said.. just travelling by a high end car doesn't make someone high class.. Basic etiquette nahi hoti of not littering the streets hope it actually makes him change a little bit atleast.

Arey wah bhai wah.. kamal he ho gaya. Out of all the people, select one person who looks rich and made a example out of him saying this is called spreading awareness. If you really wanna start spreading awareness then start with the people of lower class because they are the one who is so damn careless about this desh ki tarakki and saaf safai and all this shiz, bolne ki baate hai baki sabko apna apna fayda dekhna hai.

You know, I wish everyone did that...

Then maybe littering wouldn't make this world such a messy place. I can't go anywhere without plastic and garbage sticking to some river- and this is UK... so no clue how India deals with this problem, but qwish more did same as Anushka.

In India if you ask someone to not litter they will look at you like an alien and make so much fun of you that you will not even know what hit you...

Like plastic and cans and such is destroying everything..people should think a bit about others, nature..and their own children';s future..

i hate it when people litter on the roads. How hard is it to keep it in the car and discard it when you're home. Talk about basic common sense & responsibility as a citizen of this country.
