My column for episode 7

Episode starts with Uma asking for Kanak as he assume that Kanak is the owner of the shop. The helper replies that she is inside the house as her marriage has been fixed. So he tells him not to disturb her during such a moment and ask for a writing pad and pen. And Shiv ask him the meaning of Kanak.

Inside the house the groom's family accept Kanak and ask mayank to ask something to Kanak. He ask about the meaning of her name. Now Kanak was in delima that she doesn't know the meaning of her own name and she doesn't want to sound stupid in front of guests so she says what no one has expected from her Kanak means same from beginning to end and end to beginning like literally if we write Kanak in Hindi or English the sequence of letters are same. 😆 all the members were shocked to hear that as no one has expected this answer.

I hope Uma could have listen to it anyway Uma explain Kanak in his own words that Kanak means pure gold, wheat, a name of shakti and many more and pass the note to helper to give to her. While going from there he notice his Diya but do not say anything.

In the Rathi house alliance is fixed and Kanak future mother in law tells her to get blessing from Bhabho and Bhabho doesn't deny in front of everyone and Kanak gets what she was longing for years. Except Bhabho and Kanak everyone was upset with the decision.

At night Uma was with the lantern and thinking of the same and Shiv comes to play a game with him Uma agrees but on one condition that he will continue studying as well.

On the other hand Kanak was extremely happy as Bhabho has acknowledge her as granddaughter and writing mahri poti with Diya at that time helper enters with the letter and hands it to Kanak. Kanak was surprised and angry as well as he misunderstand letter as a love letter as it was mentioned that he will come and take over Kanak after 5 days but for what , who is he, nothing was mentioned in the letter except from a phone number so Kanak angrily calls on the number.

Uma was busy with Shiv so put the phone on speaker and no hello no name just Kanak start him accusing for his flirty behavior Uma was shocked when he has misbehaved with her but Kanak was in no mood to listen and in this scene she shows that she is the fan of Srk but Uma also gets irritated and says that girls are dimwits and hang up the phone Shiv console him that he knows that he can't flirt with any girl and ask the question how to flirt with girl as Uma has done a PhD in it😆. Uma tells him to stand properly first and go back to room. This scene was cute.

Next morning everyone try to reasonate with Bhabho that why she is doing this even meenakshi accuse that apart from birth Kanak has not got any rights from this house and now Bhabho has fixed this alliance when she is back to her home. Ved also ask for the reason as Kanak was about to say no but when Bhabho introduced her as her granddaughter so without thinking for a second she has given all her rights to her. Bhabho justifies her actions saying that mayank is a good guy and an ideal match for Kanak in every way which I personally think that was right . and Kanak doesn't have any ambition in life so it's her duty to settle her with a right person and says that after 15 days the marriage has been fixed so they have a lot of preparation to be done.

In her room Bhabho was making a list of all the things which may be needed for her after marriage and Kanak was happy that Bhabho was thinking of her. Bhabho notice Kanak on the door and ask vikram to add anything as per her wish.

Now both the brothers want the reason for agree the proposal so Kanak tells them that this marriage will bring the happiness that she was longing for. Bhabho will buy each and everything for her. For next 15 days she will be with her and will gather all her happiness for the rest of life. Vedansh cannot say anything to her.

Next morning Uma and Shiv were about to leave for ladnu when Shiv ask for one more visit to KMB but Uma know the reason so denies and shock to see something.
