Naagin is back BUT with old boring concept

The writer messed up the story, lovestory and the special ability that the heroine had. The stakes for changing the future was not high enough, there was no backlash...well just once with the hero and he still got shot instead of stabbed.The special ability was not special since whoever she saved got the same ability plus whoever saved those people again got the same ability to see the future too. It was like an epidemic. Ugh. The lovestory had no build up, she dreamed that they will end up together and just assumed that he loves her and he just fell in line with her and started liking her. They went from 0 to 100 in a second. I couldn't connect to the lovestory. I actually thought the second lead guy had better reason to fall in love with her and their lovestory would have made more sense. TBH, the hero's highschool brother's lovestory was sweeter than the lead couples. And last but not the least, Suzy cannot act, her crying scenes looked so fake it grated on my nerves. 😆

BTW, I LOVED and still love The Great Doctor show. LMH did great in it, the story was compelling although the writer did reuse the same trope from before..the poison one. Other than that, I loved how the writer had the changing of future backlash on the past. The lovestory was also beautiful. I'm still bitter the director changed the ending from their hug to them just staring at each other after she found her way back to him from the future. 🥱

We had shows like Chandrakanta, Nagarjuna, Brahmarakshas, Kal Bhairav Rahasya and Mahakumbh. So it's not that the Indian fantasy genre is lacking in any way.

In the old Door Drashan days, we had Shaktimaan, Mayaavi Nagari. Then we had Shaka Laka Boom Boom, Shararat.

I for one, don't look forward to Indian remakes of foreign shows.
