That 1 film out of an overall shoddy filmography outshines all of Kareena's mediocrity.

I always liked Karishma. I prefer her over Kareena. Karishma is quite underrated in my opinion.

As if Kareena never hammed...

Kareena was unbearable in the beginning of her career in many of her movies. She only got better with time herself.

I prefer watching Karishma on the big screen over her sister any day. She had that spark, zing and energy that is missing from the current lot of actresses. She is a highly underrated actress and I can't imagine anyone doing justice to those Govinda numbers like she did. You can tell that she gave it her all and even managed to overshadow Madhuri in the Dance of Envy. I do miss her on the big screen 😭

She was a complete package for sure. She did comedy, romance, drama, all of them very well. Maybe she didn't try action very much but she had so much talent she would've done justice to that too. She looked pretty in coy roles, looked sexy when required, looked bubbly, sombre, crude, classy, all with so much conviction. She is very underrated because there were other actresses who were at the top during her time. But I think she was good in all respects and not just a few like so many actors who are more popular than her. And yes she danced so well. That energy is just too hard to match and the expressions, she was an amazing dancer.

I really liked Karishma. Its imp to remember, she acted in a time period where females mostly had flowerpot roles. Women centric roles were not as prevalent as they are now. She does have Fiza and Zubeida to her name towards the end of her career and had she not settled down, I'd imagine she may have done some more.

Though my fave movies with her are HSSH and Dulhan hum le jayenge. Watched those two a countless number of times.
