...the movie may be lacking in the plot or may be an overly done story/theme.. but some movies are enjoyable solely for their dialogues, for the language, sometimes for the local slang in them... Mention your favorites :)

I dont think saudagar is a good movie.

But damn those dialogues and rivalry between dilip and rajkumar made it INTERESTING.

I think a lot of Rajkumar movie can come into this category.

If dialogues tend to overshadow story, screenplay and acting in a movie, then it's not a good sign. I'm not a fan of heavy dialogues in movies. Dialogues should sound simple and natural. OUATIMD was a movie which had many popular and heavy dialogues, which overshadowed everything about the movie, because there was nothing else good. Raju Hirani movies have great dialogues which are funny and meaningful at the same time, but it gets too preachy sometimes.

In my opinion, Gangs of Wasseypur series had the best dialogues for a Bollywood movie. Other than that, dialogues are the USP of any comedy movie.
