Jaya Bhattacharya is back to the channel after her stint in Thapki Pyar Ki.
Jaya Bhattacharya entertained one and all with her powerful role in Thapki Pyar Ki on Colors recently. She is now back to Colors with yet another interesting role!!
Jaya has joined the cast of the upcoming show produced by Sphereorigins (with Pearl Grey being the Creative Producer) titled Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka.
Jaya will play the strong role of the mother to the male lead (Shakti Arora).
In fact, we at IWMBuzz.com had earlier reported about actress Anita Kulkarni being part of the show, playing this above-said role. However there seems to be a change now.
A credible source tells us, "Anita had issues with her date, hence she could not continue to be part of the show. Jaya who has always been a strong contender for the role has bagged it now.
We buzzed Jaya, but could not get through to her.
As we know, Shakti Arora, Drashti Dhami, Abhinav Shukla, Aditi Sharma, Raj Singh, Neena Cheema are part of the cast.
Jaya is presently seen in &TV's Badho Bahu where she plays a social worker.
