Read Leena's recent interview about Tanu role in KKB?

Whatever Zee channel or Balaji Tele speak in media is valid.. everything else is generally considered gossip and hearsay.. I dont think the official channels spoke about Tanu or Leena neither did Leena herself make any statements..

@lav2725 if what was said in this article was true..then this is little disturbing...kkb started out as a story of two sisters based on an adaption of a novel sense and sensibility..one of the main portrayal was that of bulbul..writers starting to waive from the originality of the show and one of the main supporting actress felt that her role was being disintegrated and choose to other projects..bulbuls role for me was one of the attraction of kkb...and mrunal was great in her portrayal..arjit left because he felt the same..his role as that of purab was a pillar for abhi as bulbul was for pragya...that fell on the wayside...tanu's character has never held any great importance for me others may be different..when leena took over the role..for me it fell..i felt and still do that she is not fitted for this role..she has not convinced me that she has the talent for want of a better role to carry out this portrayal and is has not gotten any better..her role is the same..she says the same things.mdoes the same things and with the leap it made no sense her now being the wife of rockstar preparing for a beauty contest..leena being upset about this and spec about her leaving seems to have had some turnaround in that she was placed as the wife enjoying the life much to the disgust of the viewers..was this an ultimatum place on the production house? It is strange that the other actors who felt the same was not given the same 'perk'...the talent and most important aspect of an actor is their ability to bring out their portrayal through their facial..body and voice expressions..to have an actors voice dubbed through and entire show...hmmm..

Yes ann.. can now confirm that Leena's voice was dubbed for that web series saw random clips of couple of promos/epis on IG.. whose ever voice was used it appears non-lip sync on the actress..🤔 (may be bcoz for years we KKB viewers got used to either her screeching or emotionless voice with speedy dialogue delivery, but may be non-KKB viewers watching the series can't be knowing about it easily)

Maaya2 has 8.8 rating on IMDB and had a million views for first episode that was uploaded on YT.. looks like Leena has acceptance beyond KKB and Balaji Tele...

Regarding Leena, looks she has been friend and apple of Balalj telefilms core team for many yeas., but still don't know why Ekta/Anil & others back Tanu's role so much that too blinded to always uphold her scratch free.. 😳 there are multiple ways where a vamp/villain/parallel lead etc. can get screen space and used effectively in a daily soap even without letting her stay with hero or his family permanently with no relevant connection. Except for that car accident caused by Nikhil in 2016 due to which Tanu had miscarriage, not once she has been put thru any major injuries or sufferings or public humiliations or legal proceedings all thru 4 yrs of KKB telecast and now even post 7 yrs leap... this is probably a record even for BT soaps..

While most BT soaps do retain some villains/vamps till end, some evils do get temporary punishments / exits in few tracks and are moved out of family or city to bring them back after few months to cause new kind of havoc.But here in KKB..🥱 Contrary to assumption of actress, PH and some crew members that Tanu brings TRPs or viewership, majority of times when Tanu hogged maximum limelight more than leads, reverse has happened atleast from Oct 2016 till date causing a decline in KKB steady viewership and fan following both India and globally..

Anyone observed what Tanu was wearing last - the peach colored outfit? Though its a straight copy, it is the same design worn by Sonam on Cannes red carpet a few years ago..

Tanu's chr is the same as shags of yhm.
Both BT shows.
The female villain gets only half the pay when compared to the leads.
Her chr will be hated.
But she'll get to dress glamorously .
She'll be considered a beauty .
She'll never age.
Most importantly she will always be LUCKY n be in the ml's fav list all the time .
She'll be immune to humiliation from anybody,including the ml.
Sometimes provide the humour quotient .
Perhaps with lesser acting skills .
But definitely a must for these shows.
She'll be there until the end.
Only through her can the ml be shown as an mcp n the fl will earn sympathy.
The fl is one up over the female villain here by having mothered the ml's kid.
More than the kumkum factor ,tanu needs this .
She has failed in this aspect,inspite of the innumerable seduction attempts .
