Her chr will be hated.
But she'll get to dress glamorously .
She'll be considered a beauty .
She'll never age.

She'll be immune to humiliation from anybody,including the ml.
Sometimes provide the humour quotient .
Perhaps with lesser acting skills .
But definitely a must for these shows.
She'll be there until the end.
Only through her can the ml be shown as an mcp n the fl will earn sympathy.
The fl is one up over the female villain here by having mothered the ml's kid.
More than the kumkum factor ,tanu needs this .
She has failed in this aspect,inspite of the innumerable seduction attempts .

This is my take.. Shagun from the initials episodes i.e. first track of YHM along with Ashok got projected as main villains of the show troubling main leads beyond any doubt by Balalji cvs..
But Tanu's character in KKB doesn't come close to the likes of Shagun or Komalika etc.from the begining who were integral part either in characterization, background, deep connection to main families or main story or main leads, or with strong motive and deep rooted revenge streaks unlike other BT soaps full fledged vamps/villains..😒 Its not shallow selfish Tanu but deep connected cunning Aliya who felt she was wronged by many people that got projected in main villain slot in KKB with strong stakes in story and she will be so till end of the show, or till she dies. .
When YHM started, Shagun was ex-wife of male lead, biological mother of his two kids fighting divorce / custody cases .Then her brother Mihir was also close friend and business manager of male lead (just like Purab in KKB) More so, it was due to this connection to Bhalla family it was crystal clear that Shagun's character will get a continued stake in YHM story till end..(so it surprises me when I read YHM fans comment about Shagun's role still existing in YHM) and btw over the years Shagun became surrogate mother to female leads first child and male leads third child, then her first son got married to her third husband's niece oops..thus making her place permanent in YHM whether she lives inside or outside Bhalla house doing her plottings..
But no way outsider irrelevant character Tanu in KKB unlike Shagun has been shown having a connection to any family be it Mehra or Arora in KKB or to the main leads or got hidden forever unexposed of her evil deeds since 2016.. 🥱 Except for being loose tail or criminal partner of Aliya and Nikhil with only silly desire to marry Abhi for luxury and status with zero care, concern or feelings for him as ex-super model, there was no major role or deeply wronged by people feeling got established for Tanu. This is the biggest drawback of KKB and her forced stay making her live in glory within traditional joint Mehra family as though she's an orphan or a Mehra relative or Abhi's official mistress for years together with nil stake in story or family since 2016 has been terrible mocking at shows title essence and viewers patience..👎🏼
