I really despise the 'you indians are this/that. ...' mentality that is continous in this show and I'm NOT evn Indian!I know there's corrupt people in all professions but that was a very despicable way of showing it.If Vivaan and the Kapoor's are as rich and powerful as he says how long before he can get to the bottom of what happened? And your last line that exactly what I thought!Another ongoing pet peeve of mine is Meera's education. As far as i know she ISN'T Gopi bahu - so why are they trying to portray her even more stupid than that character. And what's this humiliation over her lack of education. Are people who are not educated unable to survive?

Meera had a dialogue in the very first or second episode that she was in the process of completing her graduation via distance education, the medium of instruction being Punjabi. Before BV came in to write the scrplay, there were not many lines reg her education. MeeVaan used to argue on manners back then. Post BV days of Kaleerein are so typical... Meera herself goes about admitting she's a "gawar". And the whole point is lost on me. Either BV hasn't seen the first few episodes... Or she herself thinks Punjabi medium equals to uneducated ... Or it is a deliberate attempt to pass off meera as a typical telly serial FL that she was not. Why? Perhaps to evoke sympathy... Or maybe something else. I am just as lost and disappointed. It needs to stop.🥱
@Rosy I understand your 'lalach mein...' bt the execution was very poor and derogatory.
As Sree said these cv lack the sensitivity to handle such tracks.I know it happens. In Bangladesh every step of the way from local Dr to hospital - even what you have at your bedside requires money. These aren't private hospitals. And because you are paying doesn't mean you can expect decent treatment either. They'll add tests to connive more money out of you.I was in bdesh in 2016. The night of our return when we got to the airport - people who work there come and swarm you. Someone wanted to help push our trollies from the car to the airport door😳 which is like 4 steps. My relative refused, the guy took offence and tried to make it difficult for us inside the airport by delaying our custom in many ways. It's soo annoying and soo real. It's sad that money is more valuable than basic humanity.I'm not generalising. But it's prevalent on a mass scale.

CVs have now used two tragic events of India as references for sub plots. I anyway don't think these CVs are adept at handling such sensitive issues.
I didn't like that twist for drama. That doc had saved Amaya's life only couple of hrs ago. And now he's about to take away the very life he nursed back?? If nothing else, as humans we develop an attachment for ANY form of life we could nurse/care for. Downright disregard for humanity, the noble profession and ofc that was their usual degrading portrayal of India through SM.👎🏼If this depressing twist was absolutely required, the least they could do was to involve anyone else not that doc. Or maybe i'm too emotional and not world wise enough.
