OT: I looked back at Kate's wedding & reception gowns. Super-ugly. Atleast her reception gown was & wedding was nice but meh. Markle's is just perfect! That whole veil + bandeau effect.. She truly looked beautiful (and to me, for the first time lol)

Nah. The men aren't innocent or anything, it's a win-win for all. 😆 Just that for some parties in certain parties, it's just far more. Am sure they've genuine feelings & all that, but not to be very cynical, I can't discount the practicality of these matches too, which is absolutely fine too.

But in ANY OTHER wedding in the West, you will NEVER see as MANY hats..maybe the mothers of bride and groom, the close family and other posh ladies...But even that is a maybe, not a rule.

I know that it's tradition and generally speaking it's not compulsory, as in, it's not enforced so strongly. My point is that for this wedding it was enforced to everyone.

I am aware, yes, that for most commoners this tradition is not upheld nowadays.

You've been going on about not being able to put into words' what this mystical aura' of fakeness you find surrounds her is because you are reading gossip from her estranged family. Gossip that no sane person has bene paying attention to. And please don't tell me you've been follwing her since 2014' because literally no one knew she existed until she was linked to Harry is 2016. She was a non-memborable character on Suits, and a B grade actress at best that no one paid attention to so there was very, very little coverage on her. There was nothing interesting to report so i doubt the validity of your claim of following her since 2014

All you've mentioned throughout this thread has been bs gossip that came from a sister she hasnt spoken to in over TWENTY years and a brother who is ESTRANGED FROM HIS OWN FAMILY. There is literally 0 truth to it. Just own up to it that you dont like her for marrying prince harry. I wouldnt call it jealousy, but you're not alone in your feelings of disbelief that a divorcee biracial b-grade actress is now a Duchess 😆 there r plenty who have been bemoaning that fact for the better part of a year now. Join their ranks.

Markle is beautiful. And Harry looks very good for that Royal family. Thanks to Diana's genes.

I like the warmth they give off. They're like normal people with the Royal tag.

THE maid of honour at Meghan Markle's first wedding has described her as "calculated".

Ninaki Priddy, who grew up with Markle, has told how the pair grew apart after her marriage ended and Prince Harry's fiancee shot to fame.

She told the Daily Mail: "All I can say now is that I think Meghan was calculated very calculated in the way she handled people and relationships.

"She is very strategic in the way she cultivates circles of friends. Once she decides you're not part of her life, she can be very cold."

Meghan, 36, who this week announced her engagement to the 33-year-old royal, was previously married to Trevor Engelson.

Ninaki has lost contact with the Suits actress and claims the friend she knew has changed in the last six years.

Of Meghan's divorce she said: "I knew they fought sometimes, but it wasn't anything huge. The only obstacle was the distance because she was living in Toronto and Trevor was based in LA.

The way she handled it, Trevor definitely had the rug pulled out from under him. He was hurt."
