For ur first point, Adi got very angry and he was about to react when Zoya turned up, told Mahi to leave and warned Aditya to stay away from her and Mahi. He should have told Zoya Mahi's truth but he didn't because he knew Zoya will not believe him.
I do agree with ur second point. Instead of showing AdiYa friendship, they ruined the track with Adi-Mahi angle. Even though I still loved AdiYa scenes bit still there was no need to show Adi flirting with Mahi. Maybe they showed this to make Mahi a cruel vamp in the future but I seriously hope they have ended the flirting angle.I feel that they showed filler episodes because they're waiting for IPL to end and after that, they will bring Yash-Pooja murder mystery with Apoorva's entry.
I agree that Zoya wouldn't have believed Adi. What didn't connect with me is the scene where Adi wants to befriend Mahi to irritate Zoya. It would have made more sense if Adi's motivation was to keep Mahi close so as to keep an eye on her and hopefully keep her away from Zoya.

I think it's Zoya's ego probably that's making her dislike Adi? She organized Aditya's birthday party because she wanted to prove Pooja loved him so much and therefore she didn't betray him thereby proving Yash's innocence too. But then her plans were foiled and she realized the truth that Yash indeed cheated her. After Aditya saved Zoya's life, her attitude towards him should have changed but looks like she's upset that his belief of the affair turned out to be true and her belief that PooSh were innocent turned out to be false. She did thank him for saving her life but still she's upset that his belief won and hers didn't.
