Prologue

Some relationships do not have a name, neither do they have a basis of blood or the sacred vows of wedding, but they weave a thread that tethers the will to live to one's lost soul. One such bond was of Pranav and Khushi.

In the profession in which gory death is an every day occurrence, and where she herself is the harbinger of death to many with her immaculate shooting skills, Khushi Gupta was a lost soul. Fate had stolen the privilege to trust anyone blindly from her and the dark secret from her past which she holds deep within herself keeps all-soothing love light years away from her.

Her will to live springs from her sense of duty towards the country as a proud CID officer and her close bonding with her colleague, Pranav Singh Shekhawat, who stood beside her like a rock. That is till Arnav Singh Raizada, who brings a fresh wave of happiness and colors to her darkened life, makes an entry in her life.

To Arnav Singh Raizada, Khushi Gupta lied on the highest pedestal. She was his role model and inspiration to join the police force, and his admiration and respect for her knew no bounds. When destiny chooses him to fight the demons of her life and shower the much deserved love in her life, he is more than happy to ward away darkness from her life and be her anchor to peace.

Will Khushi allow light to seep through the battle-hardened boundaries around her heart and finally find peace or will Arnav's determination lighten up her life win?

Oh girl I love the prologue!

Isn't always tge other way around, Khushi helping Arnav to fight his demons and make him realize his worth and let him dream and believe in love and life again.

So this is so refreshing to read and I love it - Well why should it always be guy helping a girl - So bring it on and rock it

The moment I finished reading I was so damn excited!

Crime, mystery and sparks! Powerful combination indeed .
