Manik Malhotra- The name itself means "gem" and he was truly the one. He was a rich, spoilt, brat,arrogant, monster who believed only in Give and Take Relationships. He had a lovely heart, but it was hidden from the outside world. As no one is perfect, so was he. He was imperfectly perfect with his flaws. He didn't care about anyone, anything. His life had only two things his friends and his music, and he could go to any extent to protect them. But a PUNCH changed his life for forever!
NandiniMurthy-Nandini means a woman who brings joy and she truly justified her name. She was innocent but intelligent, naive but not dumb. A girl to which we all could relate.She was a fighter who never stopped to fight for herself or the cause she believed in. To her, her family, ethics and values mattered the most. She was the one who used to see the light in a dark tunnel.She was the one who believed that when soulmates meet fireflies glow.
And when these two opposites attracted, when their souls connected, when they become one, they became "MaNan"and gave us a love story to cherish forever, hamesha!
Manik who cared for no one except for his friends, to whom nothing mattered in this whole world except his music, his life changed, it changed when a cute, little doll punched him. The punch was so strong that it broke all the barriers of his heart. The impact of that punch was so deep that it made a place in his heart for that little doll. The hatred for the girl now became his obsession and all he wanted was her attention by hook or by crook.
When her eyes sparkled like stars in that dark store room, it brightened his life as well. He knew she was special. And thus began a journey of Hamesha! She became his peace when he was restless, her arms became his room when he wanted to hide from the world, her smile became his happiness and when in drunk state, she promised him that she'll be his star and will always shine for him, he decided he would never let her go. She became his hope and everything.
Nandini too was affected by the Monster Manik. If he was fire, she was the ice. In the store room, when she saw his vulnerability, she saw the face he used to hide from the world, her heart melted. She saw the real him. She decided to be his star to illuminate his life with love. He who used to believe in give and take relationships, she taught him selfless love. And when fireflies glowed, she knew he was the one!
