The problem with the humour in Rajkumar Hirani movies is that, you love to hear it for the first time because of that sheer innovation... that how funny and meaningful a dialogue can be at the same time. But when you watch it for second time, it feels lame and childish, because you've got the message in the first watch. Both 3 Idiots and PK looked very preachy in the second watch, because of that very reason. I liked LRMB though, because it focussed less on the humour or the message, but more on the characters emotions and their growth throughout the movie. Bajrangi Bhaijaan too had the same problem, more focus was given on the message part and not the characters, and hence it too lacks repeat value.
Basically it's the problem with most of the social movies nowadays. Movies lack emotional appeal. They sound very preachy. Characters are called "real" just for name sake, but in reality they are just cardboard cutouts with no depth.

Another movie I can recall is Ghajini. That is also one movie which you watch only once because it'll lack the the thrill factor in the second watch. I don't think anyone will like to watch this movie now.

Yeah but u cannot add Baahubali because you DID watch it too much 😆 (no worries, I am same with Avatar, I cannot go near it, watched it so much "!)
-------------

Also, I couldn't watch horror movies twice- like Pari.

Lagaan - I couldn't even finish it. Didn't engage me.

Lunchbox (which I love) I cannot watch again - it made me feel uncomfortable, like I was watching inside someone's private life. Still loved the movie.

Pink- again, liked it but made me feel uncomfortable.

@Luna
I agree actually. Emotional stuff always works better. There is a reason why movie like K3G is still watched by many.

Yep maybe, i watched it so many times within such a short span that i got completely resistant to it!! I can't even watch one scene of it. It has happened with many songs too 😆But there are some movies i can always watch. Example being titanic,3 idiots, hum apke hain kaun,hungama,bhool bhulaiya, hera pheri etc. These are evergreen imo 😃
And horror or suspense movies have generally no repeat value. I forgot to mention slb movies. They are a one time watch except maybe hddcs.

Ramleela - That movie and the 2 horny idiots in it had me going all
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil - W*F was that movie! Felt like pushing Kjo off one of the Swiss cliffs shown in the first half of the film. Pathetic film.

Dangal - Movie was really good but don't think I would want to watch it again.

Padmavaat - Not interested in wasting my time for the 2nd time.

Entire Danbangg franchise - Haven't seen even for the first time and probably never would 😆

Airlift - One time watch!
