About others mocking Udaan... I said yesterday to Ammu that Udaan fans probably made mistake by not responding and ignoring their mockery and provocations. It started with NK fans which we tolerated coz we sympathised with their situation and we even appreciated their earlier efforts. Later it went on Bepannaah also, from whatever reason. I'm watching BP sometimes and as much as their lead actors are good nobody can't deny that concept is too much immature although it should be really serious. I mean compared to Udaan the way they address things is totally different and can't be compared. It's not surprising that pairing two popular actors will bring lot of immature people who constantly talk only about their looks and not much about their work. Here I must say not every fan of BP is immature, there are also very mature people. When majority of shows fans is immature it's not surprising that they will do stupid things like they do with Udaan. And seeing that people are not reacting on mockery from other show they will start their own. Udaan fans again kept quit. Why? Who knows. Yesterday there was Kasam fan who also tried to abuse Udaan on twitter. Why wouldn't he. If channel is ignoring his show against all fans demanding at least he can do what other show (Bp) fans are doing. And why wouldn't he Udaan fans keep quiet anyway. Tomorrow it can be Shakti fans... Or it can be IMMJ fans or even TA fans who are already bashed by NK and in similar position where we were at start. So better not to let it.
Udaan fans especially social networks active, are in a very less number compared to other shows. It's fact that tbh sometimes makes me more optimistic then pessimistic. Why? Udaan is not everyone's cup of tea. Not everyone can understand the depth of Suraj's character or Chakor's fight for freedom. Not everyone can understand or want to accept that villians from Udaan are just like not so good copy from what happens in real life.
But inside our fandom we have two big problems. First one is that from some reason Udaan fans become very passive. Not only in the meaning of defending show or arguing with bashers but with almost every other aspect. The second problem are fights between so called VJ, Meera and Vidhi fans. It doesn't help us, and it makes every stranger who by mistake sees it more confident that something with Udaan is definetly wrong. Am not saying nobody should declare as VJ, or Meera or Vidhi fan. But we shouldn't start silly discussions and argues because of it especially on actor's profiles and posts.
Shreeti for you I will say this...
It doesn't matter whom you love. Your love is only yours. Doesn't matter for whom you fight... at the end fight is only yours.
If you are lucky enough the one you love has his own love for you also. Udaan has. If Udaan doesn't love his fans why would they do everything to impress us, to make us in on more awe moment. At the end of that love there are Meejay who proved not only their love but their respect their gratitude to fans multiple times.
When you love Shreeti you create your own beautiful world. And you really do that. Every your post is part of that world.
Close your eyes Shreeti... think about Udaan, about Sukor scenes, about Meejay segments... think about moments when you write about Udaan... everything will be fine when you open your eyes.
