Seriously am I only one who think that way???

They all look so bad there.

Also is there is a dress code system in Cannes??

I think Indian actress would look much better in Indian costumes rather than those utpatang ki so called fashion clothes where they look like circus jokers.

They had the same kind of pressure which ONCE Sachin had during India-pak matches, facing 1st ball.

Blame the designers who dress them, they are suppose to take care of that point that they don't look ugly or weird.

They can't just wear Indian and prance around the RC. It's not the Olympics international parade.

It's an international platform... you've to neutralize your dress code to suit the common denominator taste.

Sorry to say this but not everyone is a FAN of Indian look and bling.😳 And Ash among others have done the Indian look on RC before too... doesn't gather much interest from international media.

Its like expecting a Japanese actress to only grab attention by wearing Kimono... sorry she'll stick out like a sore thumb.

They're doing well... I think. They're taking their beauty and blending it with international ensembles.
Taking risks. Some look will work, some won't. It's an iterative process.

We've plenty of RCs at home to show off the INDIAN look. 😉

that is also true.
Too much pressure to match the international stars and their designers end up copying international stars, in which our girls don't really good.
tbh nobody looks good in those clothes, not even the videsi women.

simply an indian actress is not comfortable of own dress but dressed to impress international audience than they are nothing more than a clown

No doubt, a kanjeevaram saree or a nice lehenga choli would look amazing on the red carpet. But when you have to make multiple appearances in a matter of 2-3 days, it is better to use a lot of different options and mix and match. No point restricting yourself to only Indian clothes everyday.

And these women are representing international brands, they have the best designers and make up artists at their disposal. It goes without saying that they will be wearing clothes from all over the world.

taking risk is copying western stars???
Also why can't the designer experiment with the Indian clothes. Why not take risk??

And I am not saying Indian women should only wear Indian clothes, but when they are not really look good in those foreign clothes with horrible make ups, it is better try something authentic, who knows they might blow away international audience.
The designers are hardly experimenting, they are just copying and forcing actress to carry their terrible copy

And more importantly, we need not take these looks so seriously. It is just a fashion show. They are representing a make up brand. It is not like they are representing our country in the film festival. They are not going there to take part in the competition or win awards for acting.
