Why did actress like Preity Zinta disappear from Bollywood? - Page 4

pz looks super weird ..saw her recently in an add with her team her face looks
someone has chipped few blocks away to make her strangely unfamiliar ..more
weird than anu's lips or kats botoxed face.so i guess the unforgiving audience
would not tolerate that face n we all know that in showbizz the heroines face
only sales.

She took time off for IPL and Ness and thought BW would wait for her.

As far as acting is concerned she was decent...could play bubbly to demure chars well...she was decent in dialogue delivery and voice modulation which some of the leading actress today struggle to deliver...

I don't think Preity was a bad actress she did some decent films. Her downfall started when she decided to focus all her attention on IPL instead of Bollywood after which Kareena/Priyanka took her place. She had a lot of potential but the surgery did her no favours. That charm and innocence she once had gone which was pretty evident in Ishq in Paris it was a horrible movie and her stiff face was unbearable. Why do actresses do this to themselves? 🤔

She lost her appeal. Come to think of it most top actresses from that time have barely survived a decade. Rani and Priety both fizzled out in 2008-2009, barely 10 years after their debut. Whereas someone like Kareena is still working, 18 years after her debut. I don't know why people think Kareena is overrated, she has screen presence and x-factor that's still alive despite mostly giving flops all her life. 😆And it's got nothing to do with nepotism because her sister vanished after marriage. So did the other nepotism kay aulaads. 😆 Kareena is a special case, I'll tell you that. I think Alia will be the only other actress to survive at least 20 years as a leading lady.
