Television soaps have garnered great popularity over the years. Any drastic change in these serials has led to a chain of reactions among the viewers. And that's exactly what's happening on the popular show Kumkum.
We are talking about the character Sumeet Wadhwa, played by actor Hussain. Over the years, he has always been depicted as an affectionate, loving and understanding husband. But recently this image has been questioned as Sumeet has betrayed Kumkum, and this has left the Indian audience in absolute frenzy. To pacify his audience we have Sumeet "Hussain" Wadhwa himself talking straight from the heart.
Are you convinced with the kind of development on the show?
Infact, I am not really convinced with the kind of twist that's been brought into the show. I can't really figure out as to why the changes have been made.
Do you feel that the audience's reaction is justified?
It is an obvious reaction. After displaying eternal love, trust and the level of confidence Kumkum and Sumeet share, his betraying Kumkum is bound to make the audience go berserk.
What message would you want to give your viewers?
All I want to tell my viewers is that this is just a passing phase in the Wadhwa family. Very soon we will be together like one big happy family.
What is your take on infidelity?
Personally, I feel what is happening on the show is more of a lesson for the viewers. Most of us are extremely gullible and tend to believe what we see. What you see may not necessarily be the truth. It is important to clarify matters before jumping into conclusions. You need to seek reasons for a particular action. This could help prevent a lot of misunderstanding. That's exactly why things have gone sour between Sumeet and Kumkum on the show.
Do you think Sumeet's character is soon going to have grey shades?
Not at all. Sumeet is still the ideal husband.
Whats happening next on kumkum?
All I can say is, a lot of happiness and joy and a big, big surprise. So stay glued to the show.
