As Sonam Kapoor is all set to get hitched in a
couple of days to beau Anand Ahuja,
another power couple rumoured to tie the
knot this year is Deepika Padukone and
Ranveer Singh. The duo will reportedly get
married in December this year and the
preparations for the same are in full swing
in Bengaluru and Mumbai.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the
couple has
finalised a wedding planner who is looking
for an international destination for the big
day. A source informed the tabloid, "Both
Ranveer and Deepika are extremely private
and do not wish to have a lavish wedding
with a long guest list. The ceremony will be
away from the media glare, classy and
intimate, with only family and close friends
in attendance. That's the plan, informs a
source close to the development, adding
that two receptions in India are also being
planned. "One of them will definitely be in
Mumbai, the venue is being
finalised
."

Meanwhile, while speaking about Ranveer
Singh, Deepika, in an interview, with Filmfare
Middle East said, "Everything other than the
most obvious. I am bored when people say
they love his energy. The man has so much
more! He is an extremely good human
being. He is kind and good to people. He is
very real, emotional and sensitive. He is a
man who is not afraid to cry and I love that
about him. He is a man!
However, in an earlier interview with Film
Companion, Deepika, while talking about
reports of her wedding and working after
marriage in the media, said, "It's too much a
part of my life for me to say I can walk away
from it. But I think that home, family,
parents, marriage is very important for me.
Today I can see my self as a working wife or
mother. I think I'd drive everybody around
me mad if I didn't work."
