Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor share a wierd connection. Nargis and Raj Kapoor had a steamy affair, the talks of which led to a disturbed childhood for Sanjay. Also, Raj Kapoor's wife was the one who suffered most under that affair. Now Ranbir is reprising Sanjay's role in the movie. Isn't it absurd?

Ranbir is playing someone whose mother had an affair with his grandfather. Hmm

Actually, I thought they had an affair until Nargis got married to Sunil Dutt and it ended there?

I guess because of these twisted connections, every individual has his/her own personal relationship with another individual looking beyond family relations and history.

That's BW. Dharmendra had his son's lifetime girlfriend Dimple as his heroine too. At least Raj Kapoor and Nargis are dead.

Twinkle Khanna made her debut with her mother's lifetime boyfriend's brother. Shashi Kapoor did movies with his bahuranis.

I bet when Hirani chose Ranbir that fact was on his mind. It will be another twist on the already controversial tale

Raj and Nargis had a passionate affair, Raj was married at that time but Nargis wasnt, it was after she broke up with him that she married Sunil Dutt after they starred together Mother India and Sunil saved her from a fire on the sets.

Its said that Sanju had a disturbed childhood due to all the rumors abt his mother's and Raj Kapoor's erstwhile affair and it was rumored that he took to drugs in his youth to deal with all the gossip.
