Wow. This is overwhelming and a little unnerving. I need to step up my game now, I feel.
While I don't have that kind of command on the language to come up with something original but I did find something to convey my thoughts:
Nazar-e-karam ham per kuch khaas rakhna,
Mana ki main hoon eabon se bhara,
Per tu fir bhi apne charno k pass rakhna.
Nazar-e-karam ham per kuch khaas rakhna...
Aditya
All he's ever wanted is a simple, plain boring life - one that he can balance with his own eccentrics. An uncomplicated existence with the freedom to just be. It's a luxury his parents robbed him off in his childhood. Over the years though, he's finally, meticulously, carefully constructed a carefree semblance of himself - something he's worked so hard to become. A happy-go-lucky guy with a job he enjoys and a partner he loves and he feels right at home.
But try as he might, he can't escape the volcano (of self-destruction, resentment, so much anger) that lies dormant underneath.
Pooja
Everything had a place. One just had to find it. Sometimes it feels she's spent a lifetime looking for places, putting things right. Returning them back to where they out to be after they'd been used and left without a second thought.
But people are different. They belong in many places, many lives - based on where they are, with whom and how they feel at that time. It's all about getting the balance right and making sure the different fragments don't overlap or collide. It's amazing really, she thinks, the things that reveal themselves when one's trying to reconcile (hide).
Yash
Even though he's been the raja beta' since the time he can remember (a fact his sister constantly reminds him of with barely concealed bitterness in her voice), he's not a fan of fairytales. The leap of faith needed to believe always seemed too huge to make from his humble one room family home.
But life has a way of making believers out of the fiercest of atheists - hence Zoya's presence in his life. They met, fell in love, eloped and married. But the happily-ever-after he waited for never came. After all, the pauper was far from being a prince.
Zoya
She's afraid of a lot of things - the dark, cockroaches (and insects of all sorts except butterflies, she loves those), unfamiliar places, confined spaces, big crowded cities, loud noises, confrontations, the great unknown - but she's no coward. She owns her fears, knows exactly what they are, and has no qualms voicing them out. She's made peace with them, they're intricately her.
But there are still some that creep up on her, force her awake at night. Lately, it's the small slivers of doubt in her unwavering faith (her strongest virtue, her biggest weakness) and the unhinged intensity in his eyes.
