The lines below are not part of analysis, not prediction about upcoming, and this was not meant to be posted on this forum. Thoughts I tried to express were born after I read comments on one insta post but then I realised I can't comment on it. Then I thought I can share it here to hear your opinions about this topic. Just to make it more clear what I wrote about... I read comments on instagram post where people discoused about upcoming Suraj's arrest and most of them were disapointed with it, saying that makers are once again making Suraj a scapegoat, that story is illogical and how this is not right. ( Apologies to the author of the post for sharing the discussion here, my intention was no to judge anyone's opinions or posts but just to hear my forum friends opinion about this.)

I'm so proud of the way Udaan story is moving. I know for some people the fact that Suraj will get arrested feels like makers are once again making him a scapegoat. I don't know if I'm minority, if my point of view is just to much different or I'm just able to put my emotions a side and let my brain think freely, but the outcome is that I'm so much happy and proud with the way this character is growing. The way character of Suraj is developing first as responsible and loving husband and father and now project manager is simply amazing. I don't know and in this moment I don't care whose mistake it is for that bridge falling. Even if it's Suraj's mistake, which I highly doubt and simply don't belive but I'm leaving all options open, it's not important. The message that will be sent after mistake's outcome is only that matters. And the message is that we always no matter what problem is, what final outcome is, no matter what and how things are developing, if we once took a responsibility we should stand behind our words always. If we are ready to receive praises and awards we should be ready to receive critics, and depending on situation punishments also. Thank you Suraj for making me remember this important life lesson.
This arrest.. This is not completely about Chakor. It's not about "she is fl and protagonist that's why they have to show her brave and strong to save her husband". It's about both of them. Maybe in every other circumstances we will see Suraj doing everything because of love. Maybe all this happened because he is man in love. Maybe because of love he took responsibility. But now not even because of his love, not because of his child, he will back off from his responsibility. That's social message, and this is social drama. UDAAN. Suraj I loved you for being you, for being Chakor's husband, for being Saanvi's daddy but now... I love you even more for everything you were, you are and you are going to be.
On the other side, maybe because of her wish for improved and better society of her village all this happened. Maybe because of that social message to not destroy one happiness while building other, all this happened. But she, her existence belongs to her husband. She is in love, and this women in love will let her society, her village and dreams in the hands of stranger to get her husband back.
In Udaan there is no Suraj's story or Chakor's story. Yeah it was Chakor's story long ago.. but if Suraj is Suraj Rajvanshi Chakor's husband doesn't that make changes in Chakor's identity also? It does. This is Sukor's story, Sukor's Udaan. And this is nothing else then just temporary role reversal.

So guys what do you think about Suraj going to jail (for very short time hopefully)? Is it right? Is he doing the right thing feeling quilt? Is this story development logical or not in your opinion?

Sorry for mistakes I wrote the post in hurry and on my phone.

Agree with you.
He is doing right by not running away from responsibilities.
And his character is shaping in a perfect way after leap.

But still if you ask me,personally i enjoy the grey Sooraj the most.
Now what happened is Sooraj also becoming ideal person like Chakor.
But the grey Sooraj and Chakor combo was entertaining to watch and the way he given back to KN and Ragini(by kidnapping and hanging them like the way they did and Chakor's Gandhi talks to convince him).
I miss that phase alot.

I know they can't go back to that phase.
But still i wish they retain few old traits in him when there is open fight of Sukor vs Imli/Karan.

Excellent post Krupy.
First I want to say that I'm never a fan of placing blame, it's not about who's right and who's wrong, very few issues are black and white. Suraj agreed to be manager not because he always follows Chakor's words but because they're a couple and they have to stand by each other, so he had to be part of the project even if he isn't convinced of it.

I think accepting Karan's offer was the right decision. Even if Chakor too had doubts, they should've accepted the offer, business requires risk and refusing the offer because of negative vibes would've been wrong from business perspective, it isn't as if there were many other investors interested in Azaadganj, it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. The right thing is what Suraj did: join the project and remain cautious. The accident wasn't Suraj's fault: he made sure the project would benefit Azaadganj, how would he know that Karan will sabotage his own project to get them out of the way.

Taking responsibility is the right thing to do, it isn't just because he was manager, it's because he convinced the villagers to be part of the project. Suraj never shied away from admitting his mistakes even when he was a bad guy. His feelings of guilt shows that he has a heart.

About why Suraj always having to suffer and be rescued by Chakor; Chakor has suffered as much as Suraj and Chakor is meant to be the savior, it's what the viewers expect, it would be weird seeing Chakor in trouble for the whole track and Suraj fighting for her. Suraj has been treated fairly by the makers, they could've made him look bad but they didn't.

Agree with bini, that Suraj is too perfect right now, I hope that when the fight starts he gets back some of his anger at least.

Bini i take this as a part of their growing. Suraj is no more just Suraj Rajvanshi, he is Chakor's husband, he is Saanvi's daddy and after all he is really person who was, is and will be supossed to bring new mornings in their village along with Chakor. Suraj has changed, towards ideal person but he had so much reasons to become the one. It's part of life. In my opinion Suraj never changed his personality, he just matured and got wiser. Still i'm hoping to see some old traits of Suraj Rajvanshi but I completely understand that after all what he has gone trough something bigger then all that needs to happen to provoke Suraj to react on old way.

I think we will see Suraj giving back to his enemies, but now on different way.

Thanks Mesh.
Completely agree with everything.
Bold: this is so true. The thing I didn't knew before Udaan is that one can be hero without being saviour. Chakor is saviour and that's why she is heroine. But that doesn't mean that things which Suraj does are not part of heroism. Sometimes the biggest bravery and biggest heroism is to not look at yourself, your life, your benefits but to turn towards others. Sometimes bravery is just standing behind your own words. And that's exactly what Suraj is doing. Makers did really good job by keeping both leads hero and heroine even in this kind of situation.
